Really makes you wonder about the people who post there.

I'm okay with that first part as it seems correct.

That last part, though, makes no sense. Why would they be selling already shelf-ready products to factories? What is the factory going to do?

Do they mean to distribute, vis-a-vis, wholesale? Then it would be a loss? Or do they mean that factories are going to do factory things? I don't get it at all.

sanjay gupta just said we should have enacted all these emergency steps weeks ago. but this thread proves the while the medical field is a reliable source of reality-based information, we should also consider the feelings of internet prophets who live in sheltered middle-of-nowhere suburbia and don't have to deal with the reality of the situation

Considering Trump went from "This is their new hoax", "We've contained the virus", "We have 15 cases today, in a few days it will be zero" to "NATIONAL EMERGENCY!" in about a month's time, seems that "libtard" Sanjay Gupta might have been correct.

Even after Amazon had them stop they could have sold the stuff locally. However, they were dumb. They chose to talk to the press because they figured there were other people out there being prevented from selling their product too and so it would resonate and make Amazon and others look bad.

Whoops.

they're ucky they didn't get beaten and robbed.

If i was hoarding essential supplies during a viral quarantine with a freaked out public, the absolute last thing i would do is advertise that fact, while disclosing my real name, and letting everyone know its all at my home in my garage.

And for one guy it's not like he did this on the side. He has a site he sells stuff he buys. So this will probably impact how many shop there.

Romney, other lawmakers call for sending $1,000 checks to Americans as part of coronavirus response

Two Democratic congressmen propose sending between $1,000 and $6,000 to every American making less than $65,000 a year

As Congress considers stimulus measures to help Americans who are facing financial problems because of the coronavirus outbreak, some lawmakers are calling for the government simply to put checks in the mail.

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah on Monday said Washington should “immediately send $1,000 checks to each American.”

“Every American adult should immediately receive $1,000 to help ensure families and workers can meet their short-term obligations and increase spending in the economy,” Romney said in a statement. “Congress took similar action during the 2001 and 2008 recessions.” -snip

🙂

I’d be down for that, could use it.

👆 Bingo.

This thing has finally hit close to home for me. Three confirmed cases in my own county and nine in my state, total.

Oh, and people in Italy are apparently singing from their houses lol. I kid you not. My local news just reported on it and it's trending on twitter too... or at least it was earlier.

Also, according to the same local news site, two large tribes of monkeys are fighting in the streets over food in India.

Looks like it really is the apocalypse, after all.😂

"Did Trump Administration Fire the US Pandemic Response Team?" TRUE

Trump's response was that he didn't do it, he doesn't know if it happened and that likely someone else did it, so it's not his fault.

notice how they all avoided that post?

Everyones saying there's no shortage.

But what if there were? Would they admit to it?

Or would they cook up a story about hoarders, when the truth is our manufacturing capability was hit much harder then we're hearing?

I noticed. It's because they're true cowards.

Lol

What a complete shitshow is admin is.

The San Francisco Bay Area just implemented a "Shelter in Place" for the next two to three weeks, meaning everyone needs to stay home and only essential businesses (food stores, banks, medical etc) should remain open.

If Trump had taken this seriously from the start back in mid Dec when he was warned and had people properly prepare since then, the chaos would not be nearly as bad as it is right now. Instead he opted to lie and gaslight. "We have the virus contained", "we will have zero cases in a few day" etc.

Even a global pandemic that kills thousands is still somehow all about the Americans and their politics. You guys are so kewl and awesome and not self-centred at all.

Trump should have sent the US Pandemic Response Team to China back in Dec/Jan to assess the situation and then make a contingency plan back then.

But he litterally fired everyone in the US Pandemic Response Team and never hired replacements back in his 2018 cuts.

Orange man baaaad!

Sending the team to China at that time would be unnecessary and do little.

What is the team supposed to do? Collect samples? Why not just ask China to send them to us or have some of our people take it back to the US in the dozens of trips we take to and from China each day as a government?

China already kept data under wraps. They'd be even less likely to share the data even if we visited them.

The Pandemic Task Force is a red herring conjured up by the left as a gotcha against Trump. It's another anti-Trump talking point that means nothing.
