Covid deaths aren't from the virus directly. They're from an immune system overreaction called a cytokine storm which essentially punches holes in the lungs allowing fluids from the blood in which then cause bacterial pneumonia. Its the same mechanism that's causing covid patients to die from multiorgan failure. The cytokine storms can wreck the kidneys, liver and heart. This is why a lot of people have seemingly been recovering well from the lung infection, have started feeling a lot better, then died from heart attacks.

Rep. Ron Wright, a Texas Republican, died Sunday after testing positive for the coronavirus, his campaign announced in a statement on Monday. He is the first sitting member of Congress to die after being diagnosed with the virus.

Wright, 67, said last month he began a quarantine on Jan. 15 after coming into contact with an individual who had the virus a week earlier. He said he tested positive for the virus the following week on Jan. 21.

A statement issued through Wright's campaign office said his wife, Susan Wright, was by his side at the time of his death and that he passed away peacefully. -snip

Got the Oxford vaccine on Friday. Spent the weekend with a fever just to hear it doesnt work on the South African variant. Doh!

They will be modifying vaccines for mutant strains but those boosters wont be available until like Autumn.

I dont expect to be going to weddings or attending a packed theatre in 2021.
