Occurrences of blood clots from all the vaccines are so low that they may not even be related to the vaccines.

Yup. 6 cases of clots in over 4million doses administered.

it's not just that there were blood clots. a rare blood-clotting disorder started in 6 J&J vaccine recipients. did this occur under another vaccination type/brand?

yes, the one i've had astrazeneca/oxford.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which has been delivered to more than 6.8 million Americans

[...]

The condition is believed to be the same one seen in Europe with a similar vaccine made by AstraZeneca and Oxford University. That vaccine, which is not available in the United States, has been linked to more than 220 unusual clotting cases as of April 4 out of 34 million doses delivered.

the az/o vaccine statistically had a higher rate of blood clotting conditions compared to j&j. i did all the maths and graphses, and it checks out as fact. then again, are all the blood clotting cases for az/o a more generalized number, or is that the actual number of cases of people who came down with a new blood clot disorder? either way, i agree with staying on the side of caution in both cases of putting a vax on pause, given especially that we have other options now

I think I was saying I thought you were cool. I must have mistyped sorry

No worries and thanks

Took the shot. 15 minute wait. If you don't hear back from me it was nice knowing you all.

Goodbye cruel world.

And I'm not saying I don't trust the vaccine.

It's my ****ing bad luck I don't trust.

I'm the kind of guy who could drink a cup of coffee full of coffee grounds, and it turns out the grounds are actually tacks and rusted nails and broken glass.

I'll be the only person on earth to develop an allergy to water.

With Pfizer, it's the 2nd dose that tends to make some people sick on some level.

I got head and body aches for about 30ish hours or so, no fever though. My wife just felt really tired for a day. Small price to pay to not get covid or get full blown covid.

i had no side effects

Fit enough for work?

I'm the type who really hates calling out unless it's necessary (Unlike people I could name who get a regular bout of "don't wanna come in flu"😉

None on the first dose.

So far so good. I don't even feel sore in the arm, but that could just be because I'm used to being sore.

So the folks have been fully vaccinated for awhile now, and I just got my first shot.

My sister refuses to get one. She drank the cool aid, keeps sending videos of ranting nurses.

I keep telling her I'm fine, the folks are fine, she should be fine. Even offered to help set up the appointment. Is no good.

At least she works at home, but it will be a worry when things go back to normal and she wants to do things socially.

peer pressure. just tell her everyone's doing it. over 25% of americans are now fully vaccinated. almost 40% of americans have had at least one dose.
