tbh I think the u.s. should send j&j shots to india, and other hard hit and future outbreak nations. time to share, imho. just don't expect us to ship over our pfrozen vax-sicles. you can't have those. 😛

So I'm at the mid point between first and second shots, thereabouts. Got the pfizer jab two weeks ago. Not a lot of side-effects thankfully. Once I get the second one, I'll be home-free.

I'll still wear a mask and all, I just won't have to worry about catching covid and dying.

The US could share doses of all three and still have enough to go around for Americans.

What's crazy, it's not just the hardliner anti-vaxxers refusing to get a covid vaccine and they're a relatively small group of morons, it's idiots who have taken vaccines before without worry, but now believe the nonsense from the Right that this vaccine is bad. What you get when the Right politicizes a pandemic for over a year now. eg Tucker Carlson is still at it, 'Do vaccines really work and will they kill you, I'm just asking questions.'

The idea that kids can pick a gender is something I'm very skeptical about, for the same reasons we don't let kids decide on any other important life altering decision. The judgement just isn't there.
