The Sun was failing at this point...as literally stated in the scans I posted
"But I'm not as confident in you and your *solar-powered* friends---*not with your sun failing*"
And then Conner stated half of his power was gone
"He's gone!"
"So is half my strength"
Then you see they basically used up the energy they had to push the ship. So after pushing it, they were falling from the sky/unable to fly

You also have Terrific literally stated Superman was being weakened
"The only thing I knew of *yesterday* that could withstand that much heat---was you"
"*Today, you're compromised*. By your own admission, *your invulnerability is dropping by the minute*"
https://i.ibb.co/SP7LwKd/07.jpg

Later, after Superman destroyed the device in the heart of the Sun, Superman stated
"The Sun's getting back to *normal*...and, soon, *I will be, too* "

The entire showing isn't as great as you all are making it. I just read the book. The sun was failing, so we don't even know the amount of pressure the sun was generating. It can not be compared to your average sun. Then, at half strength, most of the supers couldn't even lift a ship and it was said that even with Superman, it's POSSIBLE that they could. Imagine a Herald not being able to lift a ship, even at half power. Overall, terrible showing. Especially when we have people like Captain Marvel picking up city sized Celestials on her own and her hits being nothing to upper tier beings like Hulk.

Also, it was mentioned building an armor. Did that happen? I didn't read the comic yet.

It shows.

So you're not going to answer the question

So the sun is powerful enough to melt inertron and promethium - which is capable of absorbing limitless energy - yet is unquantifiably weak iyo.

Superman is simultaneously getting powered up by the sun, yet simultaneously needs armour. Tell me, why would he need armour if he's getting powered up?

'I don't know, ask the writer ' would be your response.

Edit: just to add that promethium alone has been compared to adamantium, so there's that.

It's powerful enough to break down an armor that was made from Inertron(the strongest metal in the LoSH time era) and promethium(which can absorb and generate basically limitless energy. A nuclear device made from it has enough power to possibly tear apart the Universe)

Have to note that although the Sun was powerful enough to melt/break inertron and promethium, it wasn't powerful enough to break the device that was in the middle of the Sun, chilling.

Superman one shot that whilst not at full power.

😂

Screaming here 😂

And they say abhi is racist.

How does Mangog manage to hit him, when Thor a much slower character than Superman has done a great job of avoiding many of his attacks? We can’t just ignore his speed and experience at using said speed. If speed were equalized, I’d give Mangog decent odds here, but…

Oh, I forgot one other pesky little thing. It’s pointless using Doomsday as a comparable opponent, because they aren’t remotely similar in terms of power set.

Imagine Sentry, Wonderman, and Ms Marvel all struggling to lift a ship at full power, rather than so weak they're falling out of the sky.

Hulk loses fistfights to Captain America, Spiderman, Werewolf by Night and Wolverine, don't compare him to Superman anymore.

People brought up Sentry being unable to lift the hellicarrier. Even at half power, any high Herald should be able to lift a ship with their pinky. Heck, it would be a low showing if Thing or Colossus couldn't lift it, but you have a gang of Supers failing to lift it. That's pretty freaking terrible and resembles some of Supes most recent lifting fts. I still think New 52 Supes is the most powerful version of Superman to ever exist outside of Pre Crisis.

Mid-herald, so still not High Herald.

On the other hand, Sentry with the Void is Trans level. So you are still comparing a fully-powered trans level character, with.....a group of low heralds and 1 mid, all at half-power, lmao. So that would make...a group of High Metas and a Low Herald, and you are equating that to Sentry with Void, lmao.

Also, interesting note for qwerty and abhi - the guy the Superfamily was fighting, Grax, is a Pre-Crisis character. More proof that Pre-Crisis is canon again:

https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Grax_(Earth-One)
Last appearance: Action Comics #418; (November, 1972)

Edit: this also assumes all the Super family are depowering at the same rate i.e. that they are all at 50%. They could be at even less power.

What middle herald at half strength that isn't an energy wielder can't throw a plane of that size?
