As for English, his motives for calling/not calling could be racist.

However, they have nothing to do with the motives of the McMichaels.

assuming that English only contacted McMichael in the case of a black trespasser, it could be argued that McMichaels might have committed the same homicide in the case of a white person. but again, we don't know. glad you finally acknowledge that racial discrimination probably played a part in this homicide

I'm willing to accept the (slim) possibility that McMichaels would have treated a white trespasser with the same actions and was not notified about them, but that's based on blind assumptions. it could also be that McMichaels dismissed earlier calls concerning white trespassers. could also be that they agreed to only report trespassers of a dark complexion. many possibilities

it does seem likely that at least one party decided that white trespassers were to be ignored and dismissed

So basically despite there still being no actual evidence the McMichaels are racist you only feel there is a "slim" chance they aren't racist?
