Do you have anything to base this on, other than Arbery being black and the McMichaels white?

^^ low energy strawman bait.
It would depend on the circumstances

He just told you the circumstances.

impossible to imagine a black community singling out a white man and accuse them of theft with zero probable cause and stalk/kill him over it, but I suppose it would be racist...in a scifi fairy tale alt-universe hypothetical way

Judging by this statement it seems like you're just basing this off skin color.

sure it does, in your mind

Explain it to me then why you suspect they are racist, or I guess "very racist" if it's not purely just skin color.

and if it was "thin white man" and the cops raided the home of a thin white guy with no criminal record or probable cause, you'd be totally cool with it. fix your mask, it's slipping off.

If you want to entertain completely irrelevant scenarios to this thread, perhaps start a new thread?

But if you want to create a hypothetical scenario, then, here's what it would look like:

All Asian neighborhood. Most middle-middle class.

Multiple times, in October 2019 through December 2019, a thin, white male or 3 keeps breaking into various homes. One home captures this person over and over. The police are called multiple times. The video is shared of this thin white man continuing to break into homes and case the place. Mind you, not a single person in and around the neighborhood is white. All of them keep to themselves for the most part and there is no crime.

Then the break-ins lead to 2 or more burglaries. In one of them, a gun is stolen out of a vehicle. Then in late Feb 2020, a thin white dude - who matches the appearance of one of the burglars and home invaders from the last few months - is caught trying to steal again, he runs for it. Multiple calls to 911 are made about a stranger invading a home in the neighborhood. Mind you, he lives 10 miles away. An Asian father and son duo get in their car and drive ahead to confront this thin white dude. They pull over to the side of the road. As the thin white dude is running, he quickly darts to his right, comes around the right side, and immediately starts a physical fight with the older Asian father. The scuffle results in 2 or 3 gunshots and the thin white dude dies from his injuries within minutes.

We later find out that the Asian father is retired law enforcement and had been working with the local police to assist the neighborhoods with this recent string of break-in's and burglaries. We also learn that this thin white dude is a convicted violent felon who has also been arrested for theft in the past. We then find out that 3 minutes of video evidence exists of this white dude casing and/or trying to rob one of the homes minutes before he is caught and confronted by the Asian Father-Son duo.

We then also learn that this thin white dude's parents have been caught lying about his intentions in that neighborhood, twice. Including making up a clear lie about why their son would be looking around a home, off the main road, for over 3 minutes while on a "simple jog" over 10 miles away from his house. We also learn that this felon brought a gun to a high school to threaten or kill a student, when he was an adult. We also learn that he is a serial burglar and thief and was still on probation. This 25 year old white dude sounds like a career criminal. But the Asian father and son duo should not have tried to confront this violent criminal. Sure, he was likely running because he was on probation and just got caught burglarizing a house - he didn't want to go to prison for violating his probation terms. Likely, critical thinking was not involved at all when he physically confronted the fat old Asian man with a gun.

But we ended up with a thin white dude dead and two overly zealous Asian dudes, with no criminal record, on trial for a minimum of involuntary manslaughter.

Multiple stolen items, including the Asian dude's gun, may be in the thin white dude's home (serial numbers, etc.) which might help their defense case to prove they feared for their lives when in pursuit of a burglar caught in the act.

And this upsets some people with no ability to critically think despite case-law.

also, trespassing does not equal home intrusion as it was a construction site.

I know you better than this. You're not too stupid to have forgotten about the stuff you read in my posts to make this same mistake, over and over, by just calling it "trespassing." Right? You're not that stupid, riiiight?

This is the correct take on the two key points of the case that does not confuse lawful pursuit with homicide:

1. That Arbery legit was casing the joint (thus, constituting a first degree burgle which is a felony). This provides lawful pursuit of Arbery if the McMichael's can prove they had first hand knowledge of the felony.

2. Arbery approached the McMichael's on the road and immediately attacked McMichael senior.

If 1 is not true, it's the bare minimum of involuntary manslaughter.

If 1 and 2 cannot be proven, it is voluntary manslaughter.

If both can be proven, they will be acquitted.

the fact that they had zero probable case to chase him down, and dismissed the previous multiple white trespassers. that seems like racial bias to me

that's nice, s&m. wank harder, buddy

lol at pretending that none of the following things were true of Arbery:

1. He was a convicted felon for committing a violent crime with a gun with the possible intention to kill someone who was in high school when he was an adult.
2. He served prison time.
3. He was on probation.
4. He has one or more OTHER arrests including one for felony theft.

It's convenient to note that the prosecutor had to dismiss himself from the case because McMichael Sr. was part of one of Arbery's prosecutorial cases where Arbery went to prison/jail. But then we forget that point and we have to pretend McMichael also forgot about that case, too.

We only remember facts when they are convenient to the narratives we wish to tell, right?

Knowing all of that, is it okay for the police to get a warrant to search the residence for evidence in this homicide case? Are you totally cool with it?

You don't wear a mask because you're not stupid enough to wear one so I won't bother suggestion you adjust a non-existent mask.

but this is so me:

Why, in that case, yes, it would be appropriate to retrieve stolen goods and property in the process of investigating multiple felonies and a homicide.

Wait for the evidence trolling. "Do you have a citation?"

Or, "citation needed"

That's what he used to do. citation-needed-trolling.

So, go-ahead, let's have the ask for a citation so we can get this out of the way.

as I said, I'm open to evidence of this criminal record you're claiming. maybe you're taking that as disingenuousness and sarcasm which is why you're not posting it?

I can't say if would sway my opinion on wrongful death [doubt McMichaels had prior knowledge], but it may sway my opinion on arbery

You sure showed everyone that demanding a citation around details for the most publicized homicide case in the US, right now.

Got me: I lied about all of that criminal record, made it all up. There's absolutely no way at all you could verify these facts by:

1. Reading the thread.

2. Looking it up yourself.

These are facts that are so obscure to the case that no one is constantly talking about it across the internet, across multiple social media sites, and in this very thread. And, no one certainly posted a video, just today, of Arbery being arrested for theft while he was on probation for a felony violent crime.

Nope. Nobody can do this. It's why we shouldn't even consider talking about it and we move straight to just telling me that I am making things up and gaslighting.

🙂
