Dude, you pull the same tactic over and over. If DDM is here and he dunks on you, you do the hangouts or "he's your daddy" shtick. If it's Silent Master or me you just do this "time waster" stuff when you have no argument.

The fact is I'm not a fascist, you do not know what fascism is if you feel that way. Same for if you think I'm a nazi or hell even nazi adjacent, you're not an intelligent person.

Do better, my advice is you let this go.

I see you're blowing your rape whistle for ddm to swoop in again, yet if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, etc...

if your quote can fit perfectly into a "normal guy nazi" meme, you're probably a racist who should take a seat

Like I said: you're legitimately not an intelligent person if you feel I'm even nazi adjacent. I'd just let this go, we're not gonna spend the next 10 pages with you embarrassing yourself trying to prove otherwise.

Needed how?

What possible good can come from these protests?

What are they protesting? I hear a lot of generalized talks of racism, systemic bias, police brutality. That kind of thing needs investigations and reforms, not demands for immediate change as the problem isn't as black and white as death camps or purgings.

Truth is they are just reinforcing all the negative stereotypes.

And this sure as shit isn't gonna make the cops care more.

And yeah sure places like Target are insured, but what about all the small businesses? And an under construction affordable housing development? Destroyed.

I say leave some of the buildings like they are after this. Don't re-open the Target. Let the community always remember what happens when they behave like f*cking animals.

Bet they don't even know the dead mans last name. George who?

non-rasists don't say ignorant shit like this surt. so I don't care how offended you are by being called a racist and fascist. Simply don't care about your special big-boy feefees concerned the matter

He was pointing out how your words in that particular post (especially with the lack of any comments on George Floyds horrific murder), could have just as easily been said by a fascist.

Instead of taking offence you should go back and self analyse to see if that was as uncool as we are making out, then maybe improve yourself as a person.

As stated here the words that stated this exchange appear those of a Nazi to myself and others.

The posters involved claim they are not fascist piece of shit scum. Although spouting similar rhetoric.

More to come surely as the list is updated. But yeah, continue to call me a nazi and say how this is all needed.

Yeah, Trump has broken your nation and the murder on film of this poor man by these officers who are criminals was the flashpoint.

Yeah yeah but trump but nazis blah blah.

he incited murder on Twitter. how was that not a direct agitation of an already volatile and explosive situation?

let me guess, mature smart guy: it doesn't matter because your special feelings are special?

Eventually people have to make a stand. Demonstrations are needed and enshrined in your law.

And I respect the right to peacefully protest.

Even violent protest is understandable, if people are pushed that far.

It's the pragmatism behind them I don't get.

Take another topic: Economic inequality. So much research, so many articles and lectures, and not one solid plan to fix the problem. Personally, I don't see how it CAN be fixed.

Do corporations still serve shareholder interests? Are common workers at will hires in most cases? Are unions weakened? Is there fierce competition for the best paying jobs, and do big businesses have informal agreements to keep wages as low as possible (Anti-poaching agreements, for example, as leaks show do happen)?

As far as I can see, the talk about inequality is exactly that: Talk. Big business isn't about to overhaul their excess for the common good, and no regulators can make them do that.

A lot of social justice politics is like this. Pointing out a problem, talking about it, shouting about it. But when the problem is framed as "microaggressions", its easy for someone else to just dismiss it, because its subjective. You can't fix microaggressions by protesting against it. I'm not even sure what can be done outside of an individual saying ("Well I, for one, won't do it"😉

Same deal with police officers. How on earth do you stop racist police officers? Or brutalizers? What policy can fix that?

To be fair to Trump, even he came out straight and said the murder was awful.

Pretty much every platform condemned it outright including Fox News. So perhaps that deserves more credit for the swift action on this asswipes arrest than the riots.

I think it has.

Its extremely rare for cops to get charged for assault and murder.

Even more so it getting done this fast. In fact this may be a first.

What needs to happen is a complete overhaul, but it never will.

Every country is different and perhaps seeing change through violence might work in other places but here I think it would end badly for those who tried it.

The problem is those who should be in office either have no interest in being in office or have no chance of being elected. Think of Tulsi or Yang. For all the calling of Trump a racist the democrats are gonna go with another racist guy. And the best argument is he's less racist than Trump.

So our choices are not very good. And as I said before left wing or right wing they're both on the same broken bird. They both have us so tightly in their grip I honestly don't know what to do. But I just think violence would end badly.

Not much. They can try and do more to vet and train police officers, but the core problem isn't going away. Which is poverty leading to crime, leading to an increasingly escalated police response, leading to paranoid/racist/shell shocked police officers going too far.

Ideally you want to fix inequality, but America isn't geared for that. It's a winner takes all system, that mainly exists at this point to make the very rich even richer.

And the entire world is complicit. There are many people in many countries who have gotten very rich off corporatism. America is essentially a giant casino for the well heeled or the wanna be's.

No fixing it, no one who matters wants to fix it.

You are right about poverty. Reaction isn't what drives racism though.

"thugs" and "when the looting starts, the shooting starts" are racist dog whistle terms (bullhorns at this point). when racist white people hear it, they smirk with contempt for the entire community, not just the rioters. when black people hear it, they know what it means: hunting season is open and black lives do not matter.

but yeah, he didn't try to blame the murder victim, and at least he didn't call the rest of the victim's community "animals" while trying to paint them all as rioters yet, so I'll give him that as well

My point wasn't that reaction makes police racist, only that racist people become police officers, but also aren't the only cause of wrongful deaths.

Pretty much anybody serving in a high crime, heavily impoverished area will fear for their lives. We forget police officers don't want to die any more then we do, but they need to take that risk every day to eat.
