Huge:A busy body DC resident catches an undercover cop pretending to be a protester. When confronted, the cop says he's with CNN.
The reason why this is huge is this is the second such time (that I am aware of) that cops were caught trying to make protests "escalate" by pretending to be protesters and stoking the flames:

This should NOT be a divisive topic for anyone. There's no possible way anyone on this forum should agree with cops doing this. This is anti-American. Feels like a dystopian authoritarian future...but it's not, this is actually happening.
I dug up the term "Agent Provocateur" just the other day in a Google search. Looked through all the Wiki sources.
Yes, there are many times when this has happened. An escalation of peaceful protests into a riot.
I'm not convinced that's what your video is showing, though.
It makes no sense for anyone in the US to want to start a riot. That helps no one. Police look like thugs suppressing it, politicians look bad for it happening on their watch, rioters look bad for rioting. Everyone loses.
I can more readily believe police would dress as protestors to mingle as "plainsclothes" officers.
Edit: And the guy who said "They're CNN" probably isn't lying. You see a bunch of guys dressed like your group that you don't recognize, one conclusion you may jump to is "must be the press". Especially if they're asking weird questions, as plainsclothes officers may.
