Why not just switch to something like jumping jacks or get a light 15 lb kettlebell and do single arm swings.
My cardiovascular fitness if pretty high. Jumping jacks wouldn't push me enough to keep my heart rate up. When I'm in super good shape, my muscles give out before my heart rate gets high enough.Tried HIIT on the elliptical at my peak of fitness in 2017, my arms and legs would be burning so bad trying to get above 160 that I would nearly collapse. Sometimes, it just works out that well (pun intended).

What are some sports y'all do?
I had no idea what Taolu was. Looked it up. I knew what it was but didn't know what it's name was. Cool! When you get good doing it, record a vid and post it.
For the pole fitness stuff, that requires incredibly core strength and I salute anyone who can do it well.
As far as sports go: none. Not anymore. Last sport I played was table tennis/ping-pong. About 7 years ago.
Unless you count a sprinting competition I did (informal) with the local high school football team because I was friends with one of the coaches and we did 40 yard sprints for exercise. That was 5 years ago. The coach was surprisingly really fast.
It shows how busy I got with dating and my job.

I tried rugby and football, but martial arts and weight lifting was my forte until around my 20s when I just didn't care anymore. I should maybe get back into the gym.

The most I’ve done with sports was minimal basketball in high school. That’s really it, but I’ve always enjoyed doing running/cardio and slight weight lifting to stay in shape. Walking far distances is my favorite form of staying fit.
