I am not so young either. But the difference is that I am trying to attract men. And the sexuality of men is very visually-focused. So if I want to be able to have my pick of partners, I cannot let myself slip. The sexuality of women is more relationally-focused, and they do not seem to be particularly attracted to male bodies. So men who are trying to attract women have a lot more leeway with their appearance than anybody who is trying to attract a man. Meanwhile, I like dudes with dad bods.

I look younger when I'm very lean. It makes me look kind of like a kid. But, yes, almost everyone looks older when they get really lean. Takes the "padding" as you said, out of the face.
A great example if Jeff Cavalier from "Athlean-X". He maintains around 7% year round. His face looks gaunt, 100% of the time.
His 10-minute push-up video is pretty good.

I don't work out anymore for sex as I have a wife who still gives it up, but I'd be lying if I said vanity was not still a large factor, along with the physical and mental health aspect.I enjoy getting looks. It's 100% vain, but it is what it is.
For me, it is not vanity, but self-image. I started gymnastics training when I was in the first or second grade. So the body type I have is the only one I can remember. For a time, I wanted my proportions to be more "normal," so I worked with a trainer to achieve that, only to find that I did not like it. I did not think I looked like me, and my body felt alien to me. So I went back to my old training, and my build went back quicker than it took to change it.

It depends on the person. I personally found little to no use out of it back when I used it. But I think it's a combo of the person's body and using it both correctly and consistently. So probably helps the professional builder or athlete, not so much the gym rat.
I think creatine just makes your muscles swell with water. I remember it being a big fad in the late '90s.

Creatine adds water. Giving the appearance of strength without requiring one actually possess that strength. If you're gonna cheat at least do full on steroids, is what I say.
We have lots of research on it and we know it also adds strength and lean body mass.
Creatine is one of the most popular nutritional ergogenic aids for athletes. Studies have consistently shown that creatine supplementation increases intramuscular creatine concentrations which may help explain the observed improvements in high intensity exercise performance leading to greater training adaptations. In addition to athletic and exercise improvement, research has shown that creatine supplementation may enhance post-exercise recovery, injury prevention, thermoregulation, rehabilitation, and concussion and/or spinal cord neuroprotection. Additionally, a number of clinical applications of creatine supplementation have been studied involving neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s disease), diabetes, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, aging, brain and heart ischemia, adolescent depression, and pregnancy. These studies provide a large body of evidence that creatine can not only improve exercise performance, but can play a role in preventing and/or reducing the severity of injury, enhancing rehabilitation from injuries, and helping athletes tolerate heavy training loads. Additionally, researchers have identified a number of potentially beneficial clinical uses of creatine supplementation. These studies show that short and long-term supplementation (up to 30 g/day for 5 years) is safe and well-tolerated in healthy individuals and in a number of patient populations ranging from infants to the elderly. Moreover, significant health benefits may be provided by ensuring habitual low dietary creatine ingestion (e.g., 3 g/day) throughout the lifespan. The purpose of this review is to provide an update to the current literature regarding the role and safety of creatine supplementation in exercise, sport, and medicine and to update the position stand of International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN).

But I only took it when I was training for Division 1 football. I was too light to be a running back and wanted to add mass as well as more explosive strength. Since the sport is drug tested, it would be stupid to try and do those things with steroids. I also took nitrotech which made me shit a lot.
Those were the days: I was at my strongest. To this day,I don't think I can slap on 5 plates and do 10+ deadlifts in a row.

I kinda mix vanity and self image as being about the same. I also like to look good/fit for myself too.
I am not particularly vain, because I see myself everyday, so to me, I am just normal. It is only when I see myself in pictures or videos that I say, "Whoa, who is that guy? Oh, wait, is that me?" Like I am a lot more buff than I actually feel. My brother describes me to his friends as "imagine me with blond hair and built like a brick shit house." But fit guys are a dime a dozen in the gay community, so my dick definitely gets me more attention. Intellectually, I know I am big, but it is not until I see how other guys react to it that I remember. But I think for everybody, the grass is always greener. I am fit, but I like guys with dad bods for example. I think everybody wants what they do not have, or thinks someone else has it better.

how old are youi just turned 51
Before COVID, I had a regular sex partner for two years, and he is 50 going on 51. He is slim, not fit but not out of shape, and really great in bed. I think it is strange that people are so youth-obsessed, particularly in pornography. Young people are very attractive, but are the least sexually-experienced, and the worst in bed. I would not look twice at someone significantly younger than me. Close to my age and older only please.
