I think the multiple posts made about him recently have no place on a message board. This is not me trolling, it is an observation. I'm not picking sides, I just think the mods should deal with these issues not bait and trolling across the board. This is not normal bait trolling either, you are stating you have recently had mental health issues exacerbated by a member. I hope you are OK here, but as someone not involved looking in Bash doesn't seem to be the one carrying it on.

I don't want to be involved in this so I will not be replying further on this matter.

I mean, Bash replied to my 2-day old post specifically just to insult me, that seems like carrying it on to me. I replied in a manner that was anti-confrontational:

Adam, you are missing a lot of context here. I'd advise staying out of this, as you don't understand what you're talking about. You're white knighting for one of the most consistently abusive members KMC has ever seen. Not a great look.

I do not need additional context, because the exact details are irrelevant to my point. Never wrestle a pig, because the only thing you get is dirty, and the pig likes it. You may think that airing this petty Internet drama makes Bashar Teg look bad, but it is not a flattering look for you either. I would advise you to not be so invested in the conduct of strangers ont he Internet. You can object, but when you are so triggered that you cannot let it go, you are too invested.

With all of this talk about 'racist dog whistles' and 'everyone is alt-right' at the moment, I find is confusing that when dealing with a legit abusive bigot, you simply don't care, excuse his behaviour, and in fact tell the people he targets that they're 'triggered' and to just stop being pussies. In fact since the mod ban threat the only real change I have seen among our most toxic posters here(of which I actually don't count myself among such folk) is that they don't spam as many threads about incels and nazis. Their personalities, their toxicity...has not really shifted all that much. It's just more focused. Like a laser beam instead of an explosion.

And I predict the abatement of spamming nazi and incel threads is temporary.

I think they should put them up for auction so the cities can make a little cheddar from the statues. There are probably some rednecks who want those statues. They could donate the money to black-friendly charities that do good for the black community. It's a win-win.
