I don't envy them their task. I've been a juror. Ironically legal definitions and arguments can sometimes be an Impediment to justice. The case I sat on was domestic violence. The situation was the couple had been out drinking. An argument happened when they got home. He beat the shit out of her. She phoned the police and wanted charges pressed while she was drunk and gave a statement then retracted it all the next day after she sobered up. She then said in court that she couldn't remember anything she said that implied his guilt. The entire thing was a shambles. He clearly battered her and she was clearly lying for him during her testimony but we were instructed by the judge to only consider the statements given so would have had to have found him not guilty.
As it turned out he pled guilty to aggravated assault on the police that attended the original call on the deal that the other 2 charges were dropped so we didn't have to reach a verdict. He got 9 months. Released in 4 then died the next month from drug induced heart failure. Couldn't have happened to a better guy, frankly.
I don't get why Far Cry 2 gets so much praise. Seen several people on You Tube claim it was the best Far Cry ever made lmao. I've so far only played the FC1, 2, and 3 and 3 was by far the best of them. I actually liked the original better than 2. FC2 was so damn boring to me that I didn't come anywhere near ever finishing it.

Yeah it's not fun. I was the last juror to get picked too so I thought I'd almost gotten out of until the last name was read out. Lucky for me I live a 5 minute walk from the court house and my staff could cover me at short notice. The good thing about it now is that I won't be on the list to even get called up for a very long time. I'd been called up numerous times over the last few years and never got selected but once you've served you get put to the bottom of the list.
There used to be exemptions for jury service for people qualified in certain fields which would've covered me but they scrapped them a few years ago.
No matter what else happens, I am very happy Brett Kavanaugh was nominated against the lefts underhanded tactics.
And they still smear him about it.
MSNBC host Joy Reid has come under fire for comparing Kyle Rittenhouse to Brett Kavanaugh – slamming both men as “Karens” and claiming they both benefited from ingenuine “white male tears.”“It reminded a lot of people of something … Oh, the Brett Kavanaugh hearing,” the far-left host said about the images of Rittenhouse, 18, sobbing during his murder trial in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Kavanaugh also broke down during his 2018 Senate Supreme Court confirmation hearings.
Kavanaugh “cried his way through the hearings” Reid, 52, said, as he sought to become “permanent member and associate justice of the Supreme Court.”
Cry more lefties.
