According to Tucker Carlson last night, Mitch McConnell called Trump and threatened him with a "if you pardon Assange, we are more likely to convict you in the Senate trial" angle.

Don't know if that's true or if that's just Fox attacking McConnell because McConnell said earlier that day that Trump "provoked" the rioters to attack the Capitol. Could be either.
