Republicans are definitely fractured. The sensible ones left the party, and became Independents or Democrats. The fringes are in two camps: the red-pilled Trump loyalists are defecting to form the Patriot Party, and the black-pilled conspiracists believe that all elections are a farce, and no longer see a point in voting. That leaves the party-before-country crowd with a split vote, and nowhere to go.
