Why the f*ck do we even have borders?

Started by cdtm5 pages

Because its not about keeping them out. Its about keeping us in.

Seriously, without borders I'd be heading to live in Canada or some country where they actually look out for each other. But as it stands now you have as much chance of gaining citizenship in the good countries as winning the lottery.

They're happy to send us their undesirables though. Good for picking the fields.

Without borders there wouldn't be a Canada or any other country for that matter so stop your whining, snowflake.

Countries exist BECAUSE of borders.

Without borders the USA would have 297 states instead of 50.

Maybe you'd be better off in France?

Actually, states wouldn't exist either without borders to delineate a state's boundaries.

France isn't what it used to be, so I'm told.

Corporatism has ruined much of the world. The Gordon Gekko's have completely taken over.

Nobody is better off in France, even France.

What about Monaco or Italy?

If you think anyone who wants to come here should just be able to come then why not practice what you preach?

Why shouldn't they be able to come into your home without invitation?

You talk about coming from a moral standpoint. Okay, if it's morally wrong to deny someone the ability to come here to create a better life then how is it not morally wrong to deny someone a roof to someone who needs one over their head?

I see your point.

I still think it's ****ed up people can't come to the country to get a better lives for themselves.

Of course you do, snowflake, but you don't think nearly a thousand innocent, defenseless unborn babies being slaughtered in this country every single day is f**ked-up, do you? Nah, course you don't so spare me your fake moral outrage please.

Why can't people come to your house to get better lives for themselves?

So we should keep poor families out of america where they'd have a fair shot at life because if we don't we stop being the US?...

Absolutely. The US Government is elected by US Citizens and serves the US Constitution which is to serve the US Citizens, not foreign nationals who have no right to vote.

If what you suggest is implemented, then these others have no voice, no representation, nothing. They get no rights.

Additionally, your idea assumes the US has infinite resources: we do not. The US already takes in 50% of the world's immigrants. You read that correctly.

Lastly, if you are worried about the poor families around the world, you're more than welcome to illegally transport, house, and feed those families in your own home if you'd like to. No one is stopping you from helping those poor families except for you.

I'm not talking about planes and shit, I'm talking exclusively about the land connected to us, Canada and Mexico, oh yeah we're in real danger if we let the border open up there.

Those are not our countries, as I explained above. We do not have a one world government.

I am for forming the North American Union, however. With one currency and free trade between countries. How is that for a compromise? 🙂

The entire argument about "poor getting a better life" is slight of hand trickery anyways.

What they really mean, is they want pre-oppressed third worlders who think the minimum wage is great.

This is why you don't see influxes of immigrants from well to do countries. They'd demand a real living wage, and benefits, sick leave, possibly want to unionize, etc..

Not yet, but with what's currently going on in the world I would be very surprised if we don't have one within the next 5-10 years. We'll also have a one-world currency and one-world religion. Bible prophecy predicts it and Bible prophecy is never wrong.

Except that usually you can, either as a legal immigrant or as a refugee.

Borders exist for good reason though, and we're better off with them than without them.

When you can interpret it any way you want to, sure, I guess.

With or without them the drug trade would thrive.

I'd remove them altogether.

I believe the book company folded some years ago

Could I use Canada’s health care system please?

I think I made this thread out of anger more then anything, dunno what I was angry about, I think it was the whole "wall" fiasco or something.
