Thawne doesn't utilize chi in that fashion, He uses negative speed force energy which Goku isn't perceiving imo

This is what I've been telling them. You can't compare a chi user KOing Superman to anything in Dragon Ball, because chi does not work the same way. Its treated as magic in comics, as you said, while Dragon Ball makes a clear distinction between ki and magic ala Baba and Babidi.

Doesn't matter if he doesn't use it. He has it all life does in DBZ. It doesn't matter if they can harness it or not.

Sure. But there's plenty of proof they need a strong ki signature. Otherwise, surpressing it wouldn't work.

Unless Thawne naturally outputs more chi then a farmer, he should be barely perceptible to a strong fighter like Hit, who wouldn't even register a threat.

We learn in issue 18 of new superman after Chinese superman becomes the master like I-ching when I ching passes down the balance of yin and yang which is connected to qi. It's magic:

There's no evidence they need a strong signature. Absolute bs lies as usual.

Ah, I get what you're saying now.

Comic book chi is different from Dragon Ball chi. Therefore, Hit can no more detect Superman then he could God Ki.

That makes a lot of sense, actually. I never thought of it like that.

Goku needed a strong ki signature in Revenge of Freeza.

Qi is used in magic in Daoism. Maoshan practitioners use chi in spells. Hell, one user of the crane school used her magic to enhance roshi fighting power i.e. chi.

Cool story bro. Only time goku has trouble sensing chi is when he's using IT and the signature is too far to lock on.

Dragon Ball chi is not magic.

Period.

There is no debating this. DC comic Chi and Dragon Ball chi work on entirely different principles, comic chi will be undetectable to Manga chi users.

You said there was no proof they needed a strong ki signature. I gave an example of needing a strong ki signature.

You are wrong, again.

No example was given you just listed a movie.

I cited the scene from the movie. It's not my fault you don't know Dragon Ball.

Is chi magic in Dragon Ball. Yes or no?

You didn't cite any scene and qi is a word with alot of connotations used to describe unseen and intangible forces. You're way out of your depth and are just general wrong and butthurt about everything.

WHICH makes me question. as it seems like you're saying Chi/qi is different than ki if Roshi who has Ki didn't enhance his own power

The word ki is a sino Japanese corruption of the Chinese word Qi/chi. It's the samething because the idea is a Chinese import to Japan which itself comes from Daoism.

We're not discussing the philosophical history of chi. We are debating how it is used in Dragon Ball and comic books.

Either they are written the same. Or they are not.

If they are not, you can not assume anyone in Dragon Ball can sense a completely different life force.

The same way God Ki is not treated like normal ki.
