Depends on if you think Piccolo Jr is the same person as Piccolo Sr.

It was left kind of vague. Our Piccolo did say he's the replicant of Piccolo Sr. though.

I don’t view them as the same.

Sr when on a killing spree just for the hell of it. Jr. never did any of that.

I’ve watched pieces here and there of Super, but I honestly couldn’t get into it.

In the DBS manga, Gohan stalemated Kefla, which is an absolutely monstrous feat for him.

I didn't read manga. Is Kefla stronger than she was in anime and how did Gohan do it?

He outright beat her.

Kale alone beat the crap out of Golden Freeza, so Kefla should have that power magnified.

Anyway, I doubt he'll become the top dog again, not even if he comes up with a new transformation beyond Mystic/Ultimate.

Why did anime gave it to Goku? It would've been a cool scene for Gohan.

Gohan stalemated Kefla for an entire chapter, and then eliminated her(along with himself.) Like cd said: Kale alone was SSB-level. The Potara would have boosted Kefla's power "tens of times" above that.

...but I think that's like his only feat in the manga lol.

So they changed Kefla to Dyspo and had Frieza eliminate him to make Gohan look as weak as possible?

What does Toei has against Gohan?

Where DBS is concerned: Toei's vision(anime) seems to be a lot different than Tori's vision(manga) in many cases.

Piccolo and Gohan vs the Namekians is one of the best fights in the tournament of power. Those Namekians were beastly but so was Piccolo. He held back due to who he was fighting.

Gohan loses power quickly... and (re)gains it fast, too.

He was technically Mystic in BoG --- yet in RoF, he can only go SSJ1 (and he wasn't even 100% sure if he could do that, iirc).

So he downgraded a lot in relatively short time.

That’s another thing I don’t understand. How the **** can Roshi be this powerful? The man hasn’t been relevant since the Jr saga.
