Ultra Ego is a stupid name

Granolah unlocked the sharingan

Goku can heal himself? Seems like that would have been useful before.

SSJ God ki heals, ever since the fight with Beerus in Battle of the Gods.

To be fair he did do a lot better than current MUI Goku.
Don't understand why people think this..?

MUI Goku effortlessly trounced the Granolah fractal/illusion. The 'real' Granolah only took Goku out by delivering a cheapshot while he was unprepared(akin to when Sorbet used the ring lazer back in RoF.) Point being, we don't know how a true battle between them would have played out, but I assume that Goku would have done very well. /shrug

The entire point of UI is that you can't get a cheapshot in, his body reacts regardless of what he wants, granola got that hit in, because his body couldn't react fast enough

Didn't Goku comment that his UI was flawed or something?

Grand Minister is probably the only being with the truly flawless UI.

I know Granolah mentioned that UI decreases in sharpness with time but then that really works against Goku since he became one shot material very quickly.

At least Vegeta had a fight with him. And he's still not really down and out after all of that.

The point of UI is auto-reflexes. Beerus proved it worked even if they attack your blind side.

So Granola out reacted Goku, while UI was activated.

Granola actually said that.

And it was only after his stamina went down a bit, he had "no weaknesses" at first.

The thing is he got tired enough to have flaws super fast. Like, within the first few moves of activating it.

No. Granolah explicitly waited for MUI to deplete Goku's stamina enough for an opening to appear.

...Aside from the fact that it was also a cheapshot delivered by "the most powerful being in the universe."

What about that part about Goku needing to combine MUI with SSB?

Wasn't MUI a transformation on its own, at least in the anime?

Confusing shit, especially with no colors 😂

Galan, come here, try to use your Galarithmetics to solve it for us.

Whoa, Ultra Galan

Again though, how long did that take?

Compared to Vegeta, who had a decent run against the Granola at 100% (before his amp) instead of mere copies.

Whis told Goku that UI should be 'activated' in all of his forms, as that is when he will have truly perfected it -- hence him trying to use it in base and SSB.

...But he obvs hasn't mastered it to that extent yet, which is why he still has to rely on the stamina-draining MUI transformation to successfully utilize it.

Thanks. That makes sense 👆

I mean, the stamina-drain of MUI obviously started taking its toll pretty quick.

But again, Granolah...the most powerful guy in the universe...still had to wait for an opening to appear, and even then he still resorted to a cheapshot to take Goku out(and cheapshots have historically been his kryptonite in DBS.)

In a proper fight between MUI Goku and Granolah, I think we would have gotten essentially the same thing we got with UE Vegeta vs. Granolah. ie. Goku stomps Granolah initially, then Goku's stamina starts depleting, then Gralonah surpasses his wall and beats Goku down. /shrug

It's Goku, so probably.

Vegeta blindsiding Goku still counts as a win in my book. 👆

MUI Goku vs IG Thanos.

I predict it goes something like this:

Sadly... this meme is accurate...

Vegeta would want to beat Goku in an all-out proper fight. I don't see him trying to pull any sneaky shit like Granolah did.

...Especially UE Vegeta, whose arrogant douchebaggery seems to be at its peak. /shrug

UI is all about dodging, UE is all about taking hits.

Opposites attract, Galan. That's why Go and Ve are gay for each other.

He seemed pretty satisfied with the blind side in the Buu Saga. 🙂

He may still want to beat him straight up, but he isn't exactly conflicted against taking the cheap win either. 😂
