He's the top-dog in DB as far as destructive capacity is concerned. Can completely erase/nullify universes(or even the DB multiverse) with no effort whatsoever -- literal hand gesture. Even Destroyers are scared shitless of him.

#17's random power-creep is pretty hilarious also.

He goes from being far weaker than Imperfect Cell, to legit SSB-tier, just by protecting his island from human poachers and shit for years. Insane.

...Plus he also has infinite stamina on top of that.

Beerus gets upscaled every arc, though. Always +1. Even though he's been reduced to being a supporting cast member / comic relief character.

Yeah, I think Beerus has literally been scaled up in every single arc since his introduction... For no reason whatsoever.

Hell, at this point just tell us that whenever Beerus takes those months/years-long naps, it's actually his way of meditating. Even very recently, Vegeta stated that meditation would be integral to allowing him to access the full breadth of his power:
