Anyways, this thread was fun. Surfer and Thor have had multiple fights, their match-ups are pretty well established.

Translation: Thor has a winning record against surfer.

Thor
Thor
Surfer
No idea

abhi is right

Thor would win across the board, except for the foot race maybe ? Does Surfer have super speed off his board ?

Evidence?

Marz was basically his pupil.

He was one of the writers of Blood and Thunder in the Thor series.

Uh, what? Which issue?

"Never before have i felt so powerful -- so strangely invincible!"

Loki transferred his power to Surfer, empowering him beyond even his days as a full Herald.

🙂

Guess Stan changed his mind in 90s.

Surfer was the most powerful being in the galaxy, fighting Mrrungu while Thor was getting beat up by his soldiers.

A few pages above, Abhiligend was saying that the King Thanos story arc implied that Black Surfer > King Thor:

Which imo is utterly idiotic. He's basing that on one out of context panel of King Thanos blasting King Thor. When we have a full 6 issue arc that makes his stance on Asgardian magic vs. PC.

🙂

Hey, if you want to argue with it, argue with Donny Cates. I didn't write it.

Haha, what? You think Thor has better durability than Surfer?

It was already established that Surfer has better durability against Molecule Man's machines which were about to kill Thor but Surfer survived the same machines.

I haven't been able to determine this, so I'll have to stay undecided.

He has a few feats that get blown out of proportion by fanboys.

Same as Thor w/o his hammer.

For the hand to hand part, just in case it needs to be said -- physical amping is allowed for Surfer.

What are the feats that would put one over another in energy projection?

A pretty good feat for Thor's energy projection:

Anything comparable from Surfer? We have to start somewhere.

Lol strangely, the Surfer fans suddenly disappear if it is not against Hal or Superman.....

Only in Blood and Thunder.

And DC fans would be jumping through hoops to prove he would one shot Surfer with no Mjolnir and one hand tied behind his back.

Good thing we have this thread then, without pesky DC characters.

How goes it?

Only in Blood and Thunder.

And how does it matter?

Surfer in all except hand to hand.

Not even in h2h.

Thor and Bill were dead even in a h2h fight. Surfer easily beat Bill bluddy with his fists:

Even if you argue Thor is stronger then Bill, they're close enough where the outcome should be the same.
