Sorry bruh but it's a weak trailer. Basically a vfx slideshow with some ambiguous character reveals which require either comic book knowledge or further research to know who they even are. Maybe there will be a main trailer released soon which at least attempts to assure the audience that a cohesive and compelling plot exists. I'll check it out if/when it happens.

Tbf a teaser isn't expected to give you any plot details. Just an idea of the vibe and visuals. (Btw I didn't like the vibe I got after seeing Krypto)

But as far as the GA without any comic book knowledge know, most the cameos we saw could all be villains (although Hawk Girl fighting the Kaiju probably gives away her being a hero).

Gunn's no stranger to handling a larger hero group, while still managing to make the majority of the focus on the main character. Peter in GotG.

The dog though, not doing it for me, and I love dogs. Hopefully the humor works.

I respected that the trailer didn't reveal the plot, aside that there's a villain(s) powerful enough to make Superman bleed his own blood.

Too many trailers these days reveal 90%+ of the plot. Rather lame.

I look forward to seeing a presentable trailer then 👆

If Ultraman is the central villain, he can definitely make Superman bleed.

FYI, he’s the guy in the baseball park field.

I didn't notice that? Looks like a purple villain, I assumed The Parasite.

edit: But if Ultraman is in this, please let it Henry Caville in the role, would be hilarious.

I can't believe I'm likely going to be at a Superman movie opening day. I just like Gunn's work.

Is this expected to be a PG-13 film or is it possibly going to be R like Gunn's Suicide Squad movie? Certainly they'll aim to keep Superman PG-13, right? I'm just curious.

That dog all but proves that this will not be rated anything beyond pg-13. They won't have some cute fuzzy child-magnet CGI dog starring in a R rated film. That would be begging for pissed off parents. Think of all the hell he probably got from parents after GotG3, and that was only pg-13

i think the trailer looks decent. my fear is that they'll try to stuff way too much into a single movie. what with hawkgirl, metamorpho, mr terrific, guy gardner ALL making appearances.

Because this is a world where super heroes already exist. I have faith Gunn can pull it off and show that Superman stands out amongst other heroes in the DCU. Over a million likes now. 2nd best since The Batman trailer.

Why would people want a R-rated Superman movie, If you want that just go watch or read The Boys.

He's jewish.

If Krypto dies, we riot.

I genuinely got emotional when Krypto died in the comics after tearing out the throat of Kryptonite Man.

I'll riot if he lives.

Still not trusting this deep-dive into comic/cartoon weirdness. If I see Myxlplyx even HINTED AT, I will turn my back on this completely.

MXYZPTLK, you heathen.

Gorilla Grodd could have a small appearance in the film. Something to do with what's happening at 1:36 in the trailer.

Okay? Superman's creators (Jerry Siegel and Shuster) were also Jewish. 😬

You actually responded to that 😂

Still good point. I actually forgot that.

Guy Gardner will destroy this movie with ease.
