I think it's pretty gay animals_bunny1
Here is an opinion on it, that isn't emotional and focuses on the state.

Yes, because it is scholarly and most importantly principled.
It is unique in the libertarian sphere for this reason.
Cato and stuff like the heritage foundation cuck to the state, ayn rand did the same thing.
I read from it every day. They also have an enormous library of free books in pdf from.
I believe in ideas and as far as economics go and interpersonal relationships go, to me, these are the best ideas. If people disagree with that that's A- ok but I do get irritated if people try to use sophistry against them instead of thinking them through.
It is also a great resource because it's an intellectual lineage that has been evolving since the enlightenment.
Therefore any argument that a statist would or could come up with has been debunked by at least 3 people and usually at multiple points in recent history.
Here is an article by stephen kinsella on how gay marriage would go in a free society that isn't from the von mises institute.

I think the activism end of it hasn't been good for lgbt in general.
Essentially, they intentionally ignored "flamers" (They outright say this in plan drafted by activists in the 1980's) and went on a PR war to portray gay couples as white upper middle class paragons of the community. The priority was never equality for all, it was equality for gays with money and status.
And now, its become about selling shit to those same people with money, like the constant plugs for Descovy, featuring trendy black gay men with tons of money.
As for my opinion on what people do in their personal lives, I have always supported it. Consenting adults can do what they want, its their life.

People who wanna engage in homosexual acts are free to do so if they like (though they will have to answer to God in the end) but marriage is an entirely different matter.
In the eyes of God, and by extension in the eyes of anyone who truly believes in Him, marriage is between a man and woman only.
God's decree >>>>>>>> any man-made law.
So, do I support "Same sex marriage"? I say there is no such thing as that because it contradicts what God has decreed marriage to be. You might as well ask me if I support leprechauns and vampires lol.

Like the man said, leave to ceaser what is ceasers.State marriage is a different thing from religious sanctioned. As long as they don't force a faith into participation (Gets murky if they rent out for interfaith/atheist marriages, and become a public service)
Marriage does not belong to the state. God created it. It is His and His alone.
Just as the symbol of the rainbow is His alone. It doesn't belong to the LGBTQdyucfjudcjyd764hjud community.
Really, people should not be asking the state for permission to get married. Marriage license or whatever is unnecessary because the institution of marriage belongs to God, alone.
So many of the things people ask the state for permission for are really unnecessary. Like getting a birth certificate, for example, or a social security number. It's all BS but people have heen brainwashed into thinking they need all that crap because it has all permeated our society so deeply. They really don't need any of it though.
They should take the red pill and wake up. Break out of the matrix.

All same-sex couples can be married now, not just the wealthy ones. So I am not sure what point you are trying to make.

My point is that was never the point.
But you're right, underclasses can marry along with upper classes. So I suppose there was good overall.
In terms of cultural acceptance, Jussie Smollet's character is distinguished from other portrayals as much in common as Larry the Cable Guy and characters from Young and the Restless.
Class will always been the big divider of equality. Everyone support these class based pecking orders.
