When did I say the shields were down? I simply ask a question. I can see if I said he grabbed the jacket so that proves The shield was down. Didn't say that. I swear, the reading comprehension of some people give a valid reason why China and Japan are so far ahead of the United States when it comes to a person's IQ. And it's always the DC/Superman fans that embarrasses the United States.... Glad we cleared that up🙂 btw, I was only asking if you were going to argue that Guy had no shields in space, NOT that you had ALREADY argued it or that you argued he had no shields when grabbed by Doomsday. Comprehension ftw ,as the cool kids would say.
So yeah, Lantern auras are skin tight, and doesn't stop them from being grabbed. In the past, it can even be invisible.
This works for GLs, YLs, and most importantly, Guy, who had a bulletproof aura up yet we can't see it in the art, and he can still interact with others.
In short, Guy had an aura up which Doomsday broke through sheer strength.
