Omnipotence vs. Omniscience

Started by Wonder Man15 pages

If you know the temperature you can be master of the environment so everything clicks. Then power is strength of character and the chance is in favor of Omniscience.

Professor X beat Magneto based on character with telepathy back on Avalon.

I’d take omnipotent between the two because I feel like knowing everything would basically suck balls and ass.

Omnipotence is just also so much easier for this thread, which is asking for which is more useful.

Knowing magic words doesn't give you magic. But omnipotence would.
Knowing how to fight doesn't make you a fighter. But omnipotence would.

This is a poor analogy, as I doubt Bill knows much at all about fighting. An omniscient guy would know absolutely everything there is to know about ALL forms of combat(not just western boxing.)

But that begs the question: just because you have every iota of fighting knowledge in existence, does that mean you have the physical ability to apply that knowledge in a practical setting(ie. in an actual fight)..? Because imo, knowing how to do something doesn't automatically mean you are physically capable of preforming that feat -- the faster/stronger guy is still going to be faster/stronger, no matter how much knowledge you have. /shrug

...Though even if the omniscient guy was physically capable of backing up his infinite MMA knowledge, all the omnipotent guy has to do is think "vegetable", and *poof*, the omniscient guy is a comatose invalid. 👆

Even 'just' limiting it to boxing - a guy with a laser eyes and zero fight skills would be more dangerous than Ali just before he died, even if Ali retained all of his fight knowledge.

The Uni-Mind came from Celestials so that knowing would be reckoning and win the day.
