DT after the last 12 years, anyone not mad should be mate. I admit, what they have done to the UK, does trigger me. In 2010, we were still Great Britain and NI, the U.K... now, apart from the Welsh if referendum's occur we will become little England and Wales.

Thing is, the Tories lied, and the not too bright British people fell for those lies as usual and now we are in this mess. After they Brexited due to their stupid racism, gave us May, post Cameron and Osborne stripping growth through austerity and making people poorer (May was at least moral). Then Boris... who along with Sunak mishandled everything from Pandamic to behaviour of party members. Then Truss... enough said. People know the shit job Sunak has already done, the British populace are very stupid and may vote for him.

Tbh, Sunak like Brown before him didn't do a bad job in Crisis... but, his policies during that time and Brexit, led to the economic woes prior to Truss as Biden's economy just gets stronger. Gordon Brown once said two types of Chancellor exist, "those who fail and those who get out in time." Sunak is lucky Truss ****ed up so badly, it may hide from the retarded British public his chickens coming home to roost... at least in the short term.

Rishi did help during Covid, theres really no denying that. In fact I dont see a New Labour government doing more than that tbh.

Unfortunately Labour also support a hard Brexit now, so I dont see how thats going to change after a GE.

In terms of lies, Labour lied their asses off to get us into Iraq. NEVER FORGET. Starmer himself must have led the most deceitful leadership campaign ive ever witnessed to become leader of the opposition.

Brown was mostly a competent Chancellor. But I wouldnt praise him too much. He did sell most our Gold reserves at low prices (which was actually pretty incompetent). Him and Blair also practiced the whole Trickle Down Economics, by giving Capital Gains Tax cuts to the rich.

So basically I have no hopes for a GE giving us something better. And have no faith in Democracy as long as we are stuck with this two party system, and as long as the public continue to let the media push the narrative (demonising Corbyn).

Bro we had a real choice with Corbyn. We dont now. Thats what im mostly pissed about. The British Public being so easily fooled into a 2 party choice, both working for the elite.

These are the most important words I will ever share on a message board.

Even a bad Labour Government is better than a "good" Tory Government.

Also should be able to just discuss the going ons of politics without getting triggered.

Like when me and Blake were discussing Rishi vs Truss in the leadership race. Was just a discussion without either of us pledging our allegiance to either (well not me at least, not sure about Blakey 😂 )

Okay… And Putin is better than Hitler shrug

This is the thing and why before the internet people in polite conversation never discussed politics and religion. Because the truth is, people, all people can't. Even trolls are trolling on politics because their world view is challenged.

Ha! The old man wisdom from Whirly.

Nah im right. Rishi is absolutely their best choice and chance to regain some numbers. And for the markets to regain some confidence.

Seems like you just got triggered by the mention of Tories followed by any sentiment thats not completely negative.

Because your rebuttal (he said a di**ish thing once) was frankly a bizarre one which didnt rebuke anything I said.

So I suggest youre not capable (or willing) of rational thought on the topic of what Torys should do next to benefit their party most.

Nah you're wrong. No point in trying to explain why when you're that dumb you think he's their best choice. You wouldn't understand.

Funny accusing me of being dumb given you're giving dumb rebuttals.

Don't address me in future if you're just gonna be a d***

Calm down, wrong guy. Go take your wrongness somewhere else.

Probably should, might actually get an intelligent rebuttal and thought-provoking discussion from someone capable of an objective analysis on the issue.

If you wanted intelligent conversation you probably should've opened with an intelligent argument rather than the retarded one that you chose to go with.

And yet you gave up on the discussion pretty quickly.

It's almost as if you know it was your "rebuttal" that was retarded.

Want me to give you a perfect example of why Sunak would utterly fail, contrary to what you think? And more so than if they even put Johnson forward again?

YouTube video

Because that encapsulates your typical little englander Tory voter.

You know who'd be better off running?

Grant Schapps

Or maybe Michael Green

Or maybe even Corinne Stockheath

Or maybe even Sebastian Fox

also true!

Is it true naturalized citizens can become PM of the UK?

Meaning technically Trump could become one if he went through the process of obtaining citizenship?
