Abortion

You call me one and refuse to admit that you, yourself, are also one. You say the death penalty is unnecessary, I say abortion is also unnecessary, yet I am the hypocrite?

If you completely ignored my explanation on that stance, then I suggest you go read it before labelling me a hypocrite.

No, you're not a hypocrite for those reasons. You're a hypocrite for saying "Killing = Murder", claiming it can't be denied and then being pro-euthanasia. You made one of the most idiotic claims in KMC history and contradicted it YOURSELF.

Whether you believe abortion is necessary or not, up to you. Don't have one then, ever. Stay out of the way of those who do. I'm tired of you so eagerly wanting in on this debate but obviously having nothing intelligent or relevant to say.

Using this as a retort because you can't debate is proof that no, you are not smarter than me, or smart at all. You've proven that, I haven't needed to.

So the children killed in this way are being murdered, correct?

If that was an accepted medical practice here, then it would still not be murder. This is what people need to grasp- murder is a very specific crime. It's not just 'bad killing'.

The pro-choice side IS the compromise. If abortion is legal, those who are against it don't have to get one while those who have no qualm with it can get one. Everyone is allowed to adhere to their own values here.

On the other hand we have the , "You can't get an abortion because I believe it's wrong" Pro-life deal. Here, people get the beliefs of others forced down their throats. Doesn't sound like a compromise to me.

That is the problem there is no compromise. We should IMO keep abortion legal but have well defined rules. A soldier can kill in combat, but there are a lot of rules of engagement. We should have the same thing with abortion.

I only brought it up because AC seems to think that the baby isn't really human until it's born. When does a fetus become a baby? When the head is out of the mother? When the feet are out? Or when the entire body is removed from the mother? When does the law say a baby is officially a baby?

I said abortion is never murder, the most it could be outside of womb is manslaughter, I believe. Speaking for UK law.

I believe it's when the head is out, that is why with a partial birth abortion a baby is turned around in the womb so that the head will be first out and then empty the brain contents out before the head is fully out.. then they can remove the head and rest of the body.

😘 Not before dinner. 😘

In the US a fetus is considered an individual the second the sperm fuses with the egg. For me, its kind of wierd thinking that when you get done screwing, there's already a third person in the room before you even light the cigarette.

😆 Now, I know that one is going to haunt me. 😱

They made me watch a video showing this in school in the past.

Next time I have sex, I'll be looking over my shoulder as if someone (3ed party) was watching. 😱

It must be wholly expelled from the mother (case of Poulton), and be alive having an existence independent of the mother (case of Enoch). It's not even a big issue in law; the last cases to come up regarding whether there is independent existence are over a hundred years old. It's pretty much entrenched.

What sort of rules do you mean? You either terminate the fetus or you don't.

Denying it is stupid and childish.

Saying that someone is in the "right" to get an abortion b/c having a baby may mess up the flow of their everyday life is what's stupid and childish.

is it comprehensible.....

If I had the right answer for that, I'd have a lot more money.

I'm not talking the act of abortion, I'm talking about when it is permitted. The way things are now in the US, it will only be a matter of time before the Supreme Court sends the law, on abortion, back to the states to decide rather it is illegal or not.
