Maybe its just our school, I haven't been to any others... But do you think we had an unusually high sex ed, average or unusually low?

it sounded ok, but i think its also the responsibility of the parents, they have a role to play, id like to think when i have my own kids theyd be comfortable enough to talk to me about that kind of thing

my mum sat me down at age 7 with a book all about periods and sex. She was so embarrassed, it's hilarious when I look back now! 😂

well it was stuff about puberty too, and most girls enter puberty pretty young. I was probs about 8/9 when I entered puberty

The issue with parents not spending enough time with their kids is general in the western world I’m afraid. So are extremely young girls wearing clothes a prostitute would die for, without anyone at home going “No, you’re not wearing that you aren’t.”
But the ignorance of the girls and boys are to be blamed on parents and schools alike. Kids are kids, and have been since we evolved into homo sapiens.

Yes, there are girls who get pregnant and then “claim” the unfortunate man. That happens everywhere, with a divorce following 10 years later, confused kids and general havoc.

You are right: There is some kind of ”Whaaad, I’m only 19 and can’t be held responsible for my actions – gigglefiz-” going on. I’ve noticed. Things have changed a lot in ten years. When I was teenaging I couldn’t grow UP fast enough. But again – how the teenagers act today they have from school and from their homes.

But there is NO need to force ignorant girl/boy into parenthood at such an early age. When schools won’t teach them and parents won’t tell them – an abortion is the best way.

All>I think most European countries are up to speed with Sex Ed. Some catholic countries may be lacking, but I left primary school knowing everything I had to know about the subject.

Absolutely. After all, in our country, we are given the right to choose. And though I try to see all sides and remain as open as I can, I am completely pro-choice, but emphasize responsibility and education.

Sometimes ignorance amazes me - there was a recent case reported in a girls magazine, and the mother had told her daughter "You won't get pregnant - you're only 14"

Yes but this is all in your view though. I agree, but unlike you I realise that abortion being illegal is ruining the lives of people deserving of the right to an abortion, just because of idiots abusing it. Which we cannot stop from happening. You cannot say "Make it legal but only for these certain people." It's either illegal or legal and it should blatantly be the latter.

My view on abortion:Let the people subjected to it decide. Our government, mostly run by middle-aged opinionated white men, has no right to decide something that does nothing to them in the first place. If women as a body believe abortion should be legal, then it damn well will be. If they don't, then by all means, make it illegal

Yes but this is all in your view though. Did you not see my post about how bad it was that abortions were illegal in certain places? I don't think abortions should be illegal anywhere.

First off, I'm just stating my opinion and don't want to offend anyone. But the way I see it if you don't want a f***ing child, stay the f*** out of bed! Unless you are completely sure you want a child or KNOW you won't get pregnant.

I know someone said like "are you saying animals don't have a right to live" and all... that's hard to explain. I mean, some people love animals but eat them too. I don't know, maybe we should all be vegitarians or something, but no one eats a child, so it's harder to compare.

Wow, I'm not a genius on the subject so I'm a little confused on the way it should be. But in my opinion, just like anyone else has a right to live, unborn babies do too. They didn't ask to be born. Like I said a while back, if you're raped, it's not your choice but the child shouldn't have to pay for it. Unless the mother's life is at stake I believe they should have the child. (this has nothing to do with religion either)

I agree, I think is time for some ppl to just relax and post normally without getting personal. Try to post without too much emotion. Or else things will get derailed. Funny thought...and people tell me I take things seriously. 😐
