Like i've said before just cuz they said they do it in the name of God, doesn't mean they are correct. The people that flew the planes into the twin towers said God told them to do it. Thats a cop out, an excuse to say the real truth of the matter as to why they did it. They hate America!!!!
There was a lady in Texas that drowned her kids in the bath tub and said God told her too. Another cop out, just cuz they USE the name of God, doesn't mean HE did it.

It doesn't matter if they are correct or not. They still used God as justification for a sinful act. That's fact. It does not mean God made them do it, it means that they use God as a reason to do what they do. The people that flew planes into the Twin Towers didn't JUST hate America, they truly believed they would be rewarded in the afterlife.
It does not matter if the people are "real Christians" or not, what matters is that they use God's name to justify what they are doing.

I didn't misquote you. what diff does it make if they say God told them too, if in fact he didn't?? How is that Gods fault they are using him to justify murder? it's not, that is my point. Anyone can say someone made them do it, doesn't make it fact and it sure isn't Gods fault.
I am pro-life. A baby shouldnt' have to die because they were a mistake! I mean, comeon, why not give it up for the adoption? Let it have a chance to live! You do have instances when someone is raped, yes,but even in that case, you should let teh baby go up for adoption,becasue there are so many people out there who want that baby,and would love it, give the baby to them. I am totally against it
I think it's up to the woman. Don't get me wrong, people shouldn't be of the attitude that it doesn't matter if they get pregnant because they can have an abortion. It should ALWAYS be a last resort. But in cases of rape and accidental teenage pregnancy I think it's acceptable. I hate the pro-lifers in Australia. They harass women going to abortion clinics (as if having an abortion wouldn't be enough to have to deal with, let alone having idiots with pictures of dead phetus' yelling abuse at you too). They also have been known to hand out pamphlets showing aborted phetus' outside girls schools. Sure, educate the kids about abortion, but not with guilt and shock tactics. Not to mention they shot and killed a security guard in front of an abortion clinic a few years back. Murdering someone kinda defeats the purpose of being pro-life.
By the way, I'm not putting you in that bracket Perfectly Not. It is possible to be pro-life without being an insensitive idiot like those people.

I am pro-life, but I do agree w/some things you said, it is wrong to harrass people at abortion clinics and about the guard, that makes no sense to me, if you're pro-life, yet you shoot someone else in the name of "i'm against abortions" kinda defeats the purpose of pro-life I think.

can you imagine how traumatic it would be to spend 9 months of your life being reminded everyday that you got raped? To love a child because it is your own but to hate it more than anything at the same time? If there are so many people out there wanting kids how come childrens homes have loadsa kids noone wants?
If you make abortions illegal people will still have them, only they will have them illegally possiobly resulting in the death of the mother themselves. If you dont like abortions dont have one, but i dont think you or anybody else has the right to take that choice away from the other women in this world.

Question; Have you ever been pregnant as the result of rape? Or just purely by accident, having taken precautions that simply didn't have the desired effect?

then hopefully both you and the man who raped you are white. otherwise, you might actually find that not many people do wanna adopt.
