Vietnam isn't the only place, China has this problem as well.

If most of the people applying for adoption would do so here in the U.S., you'd see no overflow of kids in foster care.

Why should other people take care of the kid that grown adults had concieved through consentual sex?

It's thier responsibility.

And if not, plenty of people WILL adopt.

Being pro-life doesn't mean that you then have to adopt every child who's in foster care.

Of the aforementioned 800,000, only around 50,000 actually are adopted each year. The majority of foster children are not adopted. Adoption is not the magical solution to unwanted fetuses you like to pretend it is.

You want every child conceived to be born, but so many will end up languishing in orphanages. And on top of that, I suspect that a huge number of these adoption applications in Vietnam and other "third world countries" are coming from homosexual couples, who would be happy to adopt a child from their "own back yard", if they were allowed to do so.
