I'm not sure the exact time limit actually but according to encyclopedia.com abortions are legal within the first six months of pregnancythe time limit in Norway is 12 weeks and from what I know it is one of the strictest time limits of those countries who have legalized abortion

Omega, when I said "I'm sure they'd prefer their life to none at all" I was referring to unfortunate children and children in foster homes, guess I should have been more clear. The point I was making is that many people argue that if the women don't have the abortion then the kid might be poor or live in a foster home. I personally would prefer a shitty childhood to being aborted.
I know people aren't GOING to wait for sex, but saying that it's OK for them to get an abortion because they aren't ready for parenthood makes me say "well if they aren't ready, thats nobody's fault but their own, because they had sex knowing the risks." That's exactly my point, the majority of abortions occur for no other reason then the parent's irresponsibility. Saying "they aren't ready" shouldn't exempt them from their parental responsibility in my opinion.

It's no differance to me at all- a fertilized egg that is chemically prevented from implantation by the Pill, or a fetus that is surgically removed in a later stage of development. Still abortion, so unless we want people to have NO control over their bodies; we can't legislate based on a religious belief in the soul, present at conception, and establishing the fetus' humanity. At a certain point, I do think the fetus should be considered a baby. I think it's viability (outside the womb) that is the litmus test to most people, but I think that's irrelevant. Viability isn't what makes us human, and what makes us human is what concerns me...some WILL say it's the soul.
Well, we must find a consensus that is independant of the religious beliefs that so often divide us...
NOW, the male pill...
I'm not sure how the male pill works- but it seems that it may truly prevent conception, rather than implantation. So naturally, all those men so concerned with baby's lives will rush out to get the male pill. They'll take it RELIGIOUSLY, and begin preaching the mantra that if you're not responsible enough to take it regularly, then you're not responsible enough to have sex. And if you should forget a pill, and your female partner gets pregnant, then obviously it's YOUR responsibility to raise the resulting child, and she's been MORE than inconvenienced enough by having to carry it nine months due to your mistake. So the following eighteen years, suck it up, if you're a man...not a boy.
Of course, if they were truly so invested in preventing pregnancies prior to them occurring...then they would have begun to act on these standards already, even without benefit of the male pill. They wouldn't be having sex, and all their posts in this thread would consist of exhorting other men to take similar control of and responsibility for their sexuality...instead of casting stones at women.
Also, when pregnancy occured, they'd put the onus on the man for not exercising his sexuality in a responsible way- that makes as much sense as putting it on the woman, and is more honorable. They wouldn't concern themselves on whether women take responsibility; because, as men, it's their own gender's behavior that they are primarily concerned with and primarily motivated to enforce standards upon. It's perfectly reasonable for them to focus almost exclusively on the issues in their "own back yard." Why would they care about how a woman handles it... besides, with them leading by example, women, too, will be inspired to take responsibility!

I agree in abortion but what i don't agree is that in the uk you can have a abortion up to 22 weeks. I have just recently seen a picture of a 20 week fetus and what i saw amazed me!!! The fetus was actually smiling and yawning ✅
So i believe that people should only have a abortion up to 14 weeks because then the brain and facial features have not yet fully developed .
