AC has called no one names. He isn't even sticking up for the name caller, calling people names particularly.

It's not a case of sensitivity otherwise the forum would not have rules on it. However it leads back to your consistancy argument in relation to those rules from last week. Which is an opinion I share.
It is.
I've called many people idiots or fools who have taken it as common language and dealt with it, or said the same back in passing.
They have the sense to realise it's not personal. SOME people will use any excuse to get out of a debate and get upset at the smallest thing.

Why should they stop? Why is it any of your business what other people do? If you can't handle the responsibility of a baby, get an abortion, if you agree with them. If you don't agree with them, don't get one.
To those people who have no intention of making a child when having sex, they should take the proper precautions. Not have careless sex and fall back on the idea of getting an abortion if they do get pregnant.
That's abusing the right to have abortions.
Note that I said, they SHOULD do this. Saying that and actually expecting this to happen are 2 different things.
Am I actually going door to door and condemning all who fall under this category? No. Am I out on podiums preaching my views to the public? No. Am I therefore disrespecting them? No.
It's my opinion.
Why do I care some may ask? Why do you care?
You're on here doing the same thing I am doing. Voicing your opinions on matters that don't directly concern you.
If you want to respond to this, do so, but don't be a hypocrite to attempt to make a point that won't change MY OPINION.

Very fair point of view.

With all due respect about the caring thing.
We're not trying to change any laws or whatever, we're not fighting for change, things already favour the freedom of choice and they should.

....Am I the only person who has a qualm with the question of the poll? 😕I mean to say, I don't think anyone I've ever met would simplify the issue in such a way as to say "I am for" or "I am against" the question of abortion - well, I could see someone saying the latter, but not the former. The way the question is worded, it seems to, IMHO, imply that there is only one right answer or that a person can only have a certain point-of-view regarding the issue and not be divided, based on the situation.
well, consider that it was made by a pro-lifer. pro-lifers like to think that people who oppose them are all for abortions. like, everyone should have one. abortions ROCK!!! 🤘

That's your lucky day, I'm for it, nice to meet you.
And this doesn't mean I'm hunting down pregnant women on the street, this means that I think that a fully developed female has a right to choose.
You should see the pro-lifers incriminating themselves, with "Every life is sacred." then "I, standing the on the highest grounds of morality, make allowances for you people, in the case of rape." Stating, clearly, that not every life is sacred. They don't care about the kid, really. They use those little cute babies to punish the bad bad girls, not realizing that they also hurt the baby itself.
No, in Pro-Life Land, every kid gets adopted, women are happy about being incubators, the world grows with population and everyone's happy, happy, happy.

At the same time and i'm not sating you do it because I don't think you do. Some people will hide behind the it's not personal defence whilst attacking others in a very personal way.

Only up to the point where it is considered to be truly alive, after which there is no choice at all, which certainly does not square with your view.
There has never been any significant amount of total pro-choice legislation for abortion in the world. There has always been enforced restriction (as it should be). The only relevant debate is about where the line is.

Exactly.
Without a line, there is no restriction, and no responsibility. I have argued with people who not only agree with abortions, but when I asked them the difference between a born baby and the baby in the womb, they said there was none. He said, until a human child has determined that he wants to live--as in, physically voicing this..., he has no rights and can be killed as if in a live abortion. He did not consider this murder. (now, this person does not represent the masses), but obviously he was raised among a society that allowed him to think this way. THats the problem, and eventually, it will spread unless limitations are created. thats the purpose of society and governments.
