Personally I've found that raving lunatics are usually to busy with their raving and lunacy to identify with one political party or another.

One thing that's always baffled me is how Conservatives are so vehemently against people making a choice to have an abortion.

From a numbers standpoint, wouldn't they want the births to occur in Conservative households and the abortions to occur in Liberal households?????

I would think that God would be prolife because he created us and let us choose our own mind but I doubt it if he is for abortion.

I'm pro-choice. I don't like the fact that women abuse the system and use this as a form of birth control. I feel like, if you are mature enough to have sex, you're mature enough to suffer the consequences. You don't want a baby? Don't spread your legs.

BUT! There are women who didn't have sex willingly who end up pregnant, and it's not far to them to have to carry this child, a constant reminder of a horrible night.

It's a very grey area, but in the end, it is my choice.

Abortion is murder, clear and simple.

If someone where to suck the life out of you and you didn't have a say in it, it would be considered murder. Why is it called something else, just because it's done in a hospital setting.

that really depends at what point in the developmental process you give the "right to life" to a fetus.

I mean, they don't get many other rights until they are much older, so there is a decent argument that it isn't murder because the fetus does not have the right to life yet.

I think its terrible when teenagers just use the system without any thought to what they are doing, but when it has been forced upon somebody then its their choice.

I meant that the people who put no thought into doing the procedure don't think about, what they are doing, they think of the baby as something they can get rid of on a whim, whereas raped women can see the baby as a reminder of the rape. So I believe that raped women should be entitled to a choice. I pesonally think it is wrong, but it is also wrong to deny a woman who would have to live with a reminder of a horror the experienced the option to choose.
