What do you think of the Namor casting?

Yeah, apparently "Atlantis" is changing to "Talocan" for the MCU.
Aquaman made a billion dollars or something. I understand the need to distinguish yourself from them. Whatever.

Should MCU Namor gain purchase, I fully expect the Talocan to be revealed as small subculture of the greater MCU Atlantean race.

After all, MCU Sakaarians were cannon fodder "paper people" in the first Guardians of the Galaxy. MCU Chitarui were Thanos' robot cannon fodder and not the Ultimate version of Skrulls. Nobody cared.

Yeah fair points. I also think the MCU is struggling to maintain any sense of cohesion as it reveals secret dimension upon secret civilization upon secret mystical city. It's a normal pace for comic books but in movie form the loose ends of all these implications start to become distracting and make further reveals feel cheap.

That in mind, I bet that it's much easier for the writers to develop an interesting story about an underwater kingdom that's brand new to audiences but has history with Wakanda... versus revealing that the very famous mythical city of Atlantis also exists in the MCU.

The character is being played by a 5 foot 8 inch Mexican actor with a beard and mustache and is a little bit chubby around the waist, they've made Namor barely recognizable to the masses, what do you think?

Height is not the issue.

No one had a problem with Hugh Jackman playing the role of midget when he got casted to be play Wolverine.

That and Tenoch Huerta was one of the best characters in Narcos Mexico. There is nothing wrong with the cast. All are capable actor.

I am more worried about the plot and how they are going spin the loss of Chad.

i'm curious WHO is going to be the new bp? hope to god it's not noodle arms (shuri). i definitely think it will be a female though.

I thought it was confirmed to be Shuri, poor choice IMHO, T'Challa needs to be recast, as soon have pointed out his character is just as important as Thor, Captain. America or Tony Stark.

People did have a problem at first with Hugh Jackman being cast as Wolverine, he was just eventually accepted in that role and most people are not pleased with this casting of Namor, the Sub-Mariner ( too short too pudgy ) it's laughable really when you consider the possibility of 6'2' Logan meeting 5'8' Namor face to face, I'll be OTFLMAO.

Who would be your ideal guy in a swimsuit, lawest?

I know who would be yours *******, Stilt, why don't you two stop the projections and get a room already, you're on ignore from this point creep, Lol.

I'd like to see you, lawest, in a swimsuit.

Does that get me on the ignore list, or on the buddy list?

I don't think pics would be necessary, you know how Namor is often drawn in the comics sleek and muscular, just find a actor who fits that body type that's all.

sleek, muscular

skimpy lil speedo

dripping wet

I can't help thinking they are picking shitty reveals, the MCU works best when it resembles strongly the source material. Iron Man, Captain America even Black Panther are examples of this. Most of the reimaginings are shit. Adam Warlock needs the hive and to try and bang sif before the high evolutionary or anyone else.

Well said, it is best to cast actors who look more like the comic characters, and if I had a woman who looks like Sif I would go into warrior madness as well if anyone tried to steal her.

all this alien Adam stuff removes a great Earthbound story. The HE is also probably going to be an alien ffs.
