We are the audience they are trying to reach, hence how MCU succeeded in the first place. It's DC who can never do it right.
The audience they are trying to reach is middle aged people? Lol. Ok. If that's what you really believe, you do you.
DC didn't get it right because of storytelling and themes. They failed because they couldn't reach their general audience which are young kids and teenagers. Marvel succeeded because they got the comedy and tone equation right.
We were discussing F4's lame villains and suddenly you say they can be molded into anything the studio wants them to be... no longer being themselves, really - hey, if you go with that, then even Adolf Hitler can be a new Superman. That's just silly.
If they are written well, they will be well received. Look at the Guardians Of The Galaxy for example. Nobody knew who they were or cared about them, but the received a well written, interesting movie that put them on the map. Does Drax go around telling jokes and being funny in the comics?
It's particularly easy with F4, as their rogues are trash.
I know this is a shock to you, but your opinion isn't fact.
Power levels have everything to do with it, as you are extremely biased in that regard and that's the only kind of "writing" you appreciate.
Lol. I have no idea what you are talking about or how you come up with this stuff.
And it's either FF or F4, not "FF4". You are/you're, not "your". Christ, grow up, tki.
Oh this is what we're doing now. Attacking grammar and so forth because your argument is weak. Only triggered people do that. Don't be that guy.

Their best rogues aren't even truly theirs anymore - Doom left that club of losers and so did Big G.
Doesn't matter. Fact is the MCU couldn't use them before Disney got the movie rights to FF back. They will both always be associated with the FF first and foremost.
The fact that they evolved to be involved with the wider Marvel catalogue is a testament to how good a job the FF did bringing them to us in the first place 😉

You are middle-aged, not me.

Pfft. Comic fanbase doesn't consist just of "young kids and teenagers".
As an American, you should know that better than anyone. So, wrong again.

It sure takes a whole lot of extra effort to transform garbage-tier characters into something that would appeal to people worldwide.

It's a damn good thing it's not just my opinion, then.
They are lame and outdated in every way.

Sure, Sentry fanboy. You have absolutely no idea, yeah right...

You're old enough to start caring a little about your spelling and English language in general, you know?

Just stop already. The general audience for superhero movies are young kids and teenagers. They are also the embodiment that purchases most of the merchandise.
As an American, you should know that better than anyone. So, wrong again.
As an American, the last time I frequented a theater to watch a superhero movie, my kids were just that,,,kids. The surrounding audiences were mostly parents taking their kids to the show and groups of teenagers. So yes, I do know.

Lol. It just takes a well written and interesting movie. No more effort than anything else.

Everybody has different opinions and different likes. Why bash people that have different ones than you?
No more outdated than a character that flies around with a big 'S' on his chest and red underwear, or a guy hanging around alleys with a big bat on his chest because he can't get over something that happened when he was a child.
Sure, Sentry fanboy. You have absolutely no idea, yeah right...
Lolol. So I like a character that's powerful. Does that define every character that I like? You would be better served taking your vendetta to all the Superman lovers around here.

I'm old enough to not care about such meaningless things. There's a difference.

People in their thirties aren't middle-aged.

You admitted it yourself before that power is all you care about. Nice attempt trying to backpedal on it.

You don't care only when raping English language is something you do on a regular basis.

They also aren't the prime audience for superhero movies.

When did I say that and to what context? If your statement was true, some of my favorite character don't correlate to it.

You seem to be able to understand everything I post.
