Can't speak for the mainstream (who've probably been put off by Fox's efforts). But I've always enjoyed the FF.

It's for Marvel Studios to make the mainstream feel the same way.

Some good casting (Chiklis as Ben/Jones and Fishburne as Surfer), bad casting (Alba), failure to pull the trigger and just do it the way it is in the comics (non King of Latveria armored Doom/cloud Galactus).

I’m ready to be wowed by the MCU’s version of the FF, I’m just wary.

Some good casting (Chiklis as Ben/Jones and Fishburne as Surfer), bad casting (Alba), failure to pull the trigger and just do it the way it is in the comics (non King of Latveria armored Doom/cloud Galactus).

Reed was also good casting with Ioan Gruffudd

i felt the same for Sue Storm too, Just seemed like the people who were on those movies went for whoever was good looking

I just wonder about actual onscreen appearance.

They get him to bulk up some, then do the same Thanos-ification they did for Josh Brolin and he should look great. He'll be mostly CGI but look like Ralph Ineson as a muscly Galactus.

MODOK was made to look retarded on purpose for comedic reasons, as Disney has all the money in the world for CGI and the rest of the film was visually impressive, really only thing it had going for it.
