Obviously what I said hinges on him being guilty. I not want an innocent person thrown in jail just because I find them deplorable, I’m not a Trumper after all.

I do believe he’s guilty though, he’s even bragged about it. But we’ll see soon enough.

Essentially there was suspicion that he used his Presidential influence as Joe Biden's son for personal gain with Russia. Or something. And the reference to "The Old Man" on the laptop was referencing Joe, meaning he actively knew and was complicit.
