Superman: Legacy/Batman: The Brave & The Bold

Yes the Julliard trained guy has me crying soooo hard. Definitely the right pick.

Corenswet was in one episode of House of Cards, but I don't remember him, probably a minor role.

No idea what his acting skills are, but Cavill isn't the best actor and still did Superman pretty well, despite Synder's "dark" approach.

Total failure already.

meant to do this yesterday but Hawkgirl, Mr. Terrific, and Guy Gardner have been cast in the form of Isabel Merced, Edi Cathegi and Nathan Fillion....

also Anthony Carrigan has been cast as Metamorpho...

Pretty happy about Nathan Fillion.

I don't know how obscure that character is, but I've never heard of him. So I'm excited about obscure DC characters. That's where Gunn excels.

Anthony Carrigan kinda looks like Metamorpho.

He was pretty good in the HBO show Barry, until Barry become boring and I stopped watching.

^^^Same.
I was bummed when he wasn’t cast as Wonderman, but this helps make up for it.

Metamorpho is an acquired taste to say the least

Thanks to Snyder's approach, you mean.

Superman is bland and uninteresting by himself; takes a truly herculean effort to make him something more.

Yeah, I think I saw a side-by-side and thought that's gold. 😄

He does. Doubt he's human, tbh vin

Superman definitely can be boring. But there's plenty of good Superman stories without the Synder touch. eg The Justice League/ JL Unlimited cartoons

Yeah, but those cartoons are like the whole DC universe in one package. That's like saying you should watch Avengers to appreciate Hawkeye.

Superman and MAGA supporters are one & the same, Rob. Think about it.

Superman the Animated Series was better than JL, JLU, and, dare I say it, Batman: TAS.

I think you mean Homelander and MAGA supporters... lol

I did definitely like Superman TAS for what it was and is underrated compared to those others, but I probably have too much fondness for the late Kevin Conroy to go that far. Batman TAS easily went downhill with the 3rd season though and would've liked the first couple seasons of Superman TAS to be longer than they were, but I guess they were in a hurry to get started with the animated crossovers at that point.

I've found a few things on Netflix in which David Corenswet is the lead actor.. First one is Hollywood which is about actors in post WW2. Hollywood is not a bad series bit I feel it coulda been better. As for Corenswet, he was pretty decent in it.

It's amusing that the guy is getting panned already cos some of us have functioning brains and remember the cries if "who?" and "he'll be crap as Superman" about Henry Cavil when he was announced as taking the role and he ended up being excellent.

it seems Gadot is returning as Diana in Gunn's DCU

Will Greta Gerwg direct the Supergirl film?
