It's got to be a hoax but everyone seems to be reporting Gunn cast Johnny Sins as Lex Luthor... super big WTF?!

Sean Gunn is perfectly adequate for the role.

I think it's confirmed now that it's Nicholas Hoult.

White actresses between 18-25 being looked at for Supergirl. Looks like Gunn is going for comic accuracy

I have total faith in Gunn. Just could be hard for a new Cinematic DCU to get audiences back.

So, another Eisenlex?

Johnny Sins doesn't sound so bad in comparison 😂

Nicholas Hoult is MANY, MANY, MANY times the superior actor to Jesse Eisenberg.

He has the potential to be a great Lex Luthor if the script is a proper Lex Luthur.

Why no one is still not looking at Mark Strong though. Beyond me.

Yeah, Nicholas Hoult is in lesser-known roles, but is highly underrated.

Mad Max Fury Road and The Menu are two great ones that I know him best from.

He is, but he's still a terrible pick for the role. He sucked as Beast, so I don't see him portraying Lex well. Too much of a challenge, he's too young too.

Bro, you made a typo in "Luthor" already - that's your subconsciousness telling us DC scripts will continue to suck.

Jeff Bezos IS Luthor.

And yet on the other hand people are saying nepotism.

He's a few years older than the guy playing Supes.

Truth.

But I hear he didn't audition.

Could be and it wouldn't be the first time.

eg Ron Howard cast his odd looking brother in small roles for his films and Clint Howard does fine in those small roles.

Man, I just re-watched James Gunn's The Suicide Squad and goddamn, it's even better than I remembered.

If it's any indication I think we're going to be in for a real treat with him taking over DC.

Superman is probably the ultimate test, because I think if he can make me give a shit about a Superman movie he can probably do anything.

seems meg donnelly and milly alcock are up for Supergirl

Milly Alcock is Supergirl.....

Good choice. She was excellent in HotD and I was sad to see her go. Casting has been pretty top notch so far.

Casting is damn strong so far.

...

DCU Superman already looks superior to any MCU Avenger
