Why do you keep mentioning Rogol beating Zod when he literally almost killed Superman, and treated him like fodder. I'm not denying the statement. I'm also not denying him beating Superman with ease every time they fought. This is the part youre not getting. Superman mentioning under the same sentence about that he doesn't stand a chance against Zaar. And again, Zod did better against Zaar than Superman did.

The thing is, ABC logic doesn't hold in a forum fight if the character wasn't fighting at their best, because in a forum they will be.

For example, if Zod can perceive a fraction of a nanosecond as several minutes, then he could have statued Hal in their fight. Since he didn’t, it means he wasn’t fighting at his full capability, and that fight can't be used for ABC logic.

John at the time was head of the entire GL corps, and has a ring that is connected to the entire GL knowledge network (which, incidentally, was why Hal was fighting Zod in the first place lol). He may not personally have faced him (maybe he did?) but the GL ring is explicitly the source of knowledge on every species in the DC universe.

So no, your example falls flat as soon as you stop relying on respect threads and actually read the comics 😂
