I think James wasn't an Auror. Remember he was very rich and at the time of their death they were in hiding. Aurors don't need to hide do they?
Yes, the examiners were impressed in DADA but not in the other disciplines. And Aurors need to excel in a lot of disciplines. But the most important aspect for me is that HArry would love to remain in Hogwarts where he feels more at home.
That's something not easily explained, why their fathers were so rich. Lilly was muglle-born, so it couldn't have been from her side. James Potter is definitely a very obscure character, more to come from him I expect (he was a real ass if you ask me).
i felt so sad when [you know who] died! I didn't like the book as much because there wasn't a definite event, you know? like the first, the sorcerer's stone, the second, the chamber + the basilisk, third, sirius, fourth, the tournament, fifth....i know there was an event, but it wasn't suspenseful or as good. it was still enjoyable though.
Well, I have to agree that there was not a specific event like in the four previous book. The Order of the Phoenix was dealing with the magical community's refusal to admit that Voldemort had returned.
I felt freakin fustrated on Harrys behalf so I had to keep on reading and reading.
But the dark mood, and the oppression and stuff made it by far the best HP book to date.
katie bell
I think katie Bell might be the captain in the next book because only alicia spinnet and angelina johnson will be gone... ginny says so when harry congradulated her on catching the snitch... and I think that in the 7th book harry will be made captain because he was on the team the longest.....

Well, for some reason I think that AlatarielT was honest about the fact that she thinks Harry Potter is stupid. That's the same way I felt about the Lord of the Rings and the same way I felt about Harry Potter... That all ended, however, when I saw the movies. After seeing the Fellowship of the Ring, I went around finding all the books about it that I could find. And, with Harry Potter, I didn't see the movie until one night when the Chamber of secrets was out and my sister was taking my brother and I over to see it. Right befor we went, I sat down and watched the Sorceror's Stone, and I thought it was pretty good. But then I saw the Chamber of Secrets, and that just shot it up to great. Therefore, I got around to reading the books, and they were just great... Just goes to show.
