is sirius really dead?

i had a realy cool idea it wont happen but it would be cool Harry repaires the mirror and takes i to the veil throws the mirror behind the veil and then Sirius has a mirror he can talk to him from

see it all works out

ok Rosebloom... he was acting.... they did NOT EVER say what COLOR the jet of light was!!! and... if u remember Dumbledore NEVER said that Sirius WAS DEAD!!! and...Dumbledore NEVER acted TO concerned about what was going on down there in the room!! SO to make my point, there is a possiblity that SIRIUS DID disapparate after he "fell" behinf the veil.

and the whole thing with the mirror....come on harry opened the mirror when he was in the dormitory and did Sirius show up???? I think not

Yeah but there is always book 6 and ya know.....I am thinking about this dissaperation.......he could have....b/c he could have disapperated as he was hitting the curtain..TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE HE FELL BEHIND IT... you have a point LadyBlueEyes....i am soooooo hoping to see him in the next book. He was one of the BEST ever characters.....I couldn't wait to get to his parts.........when his character would come back into play 🙂

But back in the real book Dumbldore clearly states to Harry in his office:

"It is my fault that Sirius died."

Get your information right before you bore us with nonsensical ramblings. You can't seriously expect to make a valid point with stuff you make up.

ok whatever!! i think that i ought to know what is in the book since i have read it like 5 times now!!! and.....airangel429....thank u for agreeing with me!! b/c it is a magical world and.....N E thing can happen it could have all been a set-up or something like that!!

Umm..if you ARE going to bore us, at least give us the dignity of typing the words. Because NOT "N E" thing goes in the Magical World, and you guys are forgetting that Sirius is Harry's Godfather. He's not just going to leave him and disappear. You are just making up facts that cannot be backed, and bending the book to them, when it should be the other way around. I suggest you read the book one more time.

#1 i have read the book 5 times and i still have MY belief that Sirius is NOT dead and that he will COME back !!! there is logical sense behind the disapperation stuff too!! as he was falling into the veil he disapperated making the illusion like i said before that he actually hit the veil but he really didn't!! and then theres the whole buckbeak issue!

What Buckbeak issue? You are just making things up! We DON'T know anything but Sirius is "dead". I have no doubt that he won't come back, but if he isn't dead then why would he LEAVE HARRY TO THINK THAT HE WAS!? He has no reason to flee! Sirius is Harry's Godfather, he wouldn't leave him if he knew that Voldemort was after Harry. You need to stop throwing out ludicrous ideas just because you are too dilusional to realize that Sirius is gone for the time being. He got hit with a spell, fell behind the veil...and now we don't know what happened to him. There is no way he would have gone back to Buckbeak, and then left. HE HAS NO REASON TO LEAVE!!! Explain that please instead of braggin about reading the book 5 times, which it doesn't even seem like it because all you can do is BRAG about it, and you don't even yield the right information! Either stop posting things, or get the facts...I think I speak for everyone who DOES know what they are talking about. i believe that he would go and GET BUCKBEAK!! he has had him since they escaped together. and he WOULD still be RUNNING b/c of FUDGE... he is still after Sirius! he may well be dead but some facts point out that he isn't dead

the first spell missed him in the first place and the second one WAS RED. another thing is that James and Sirius used the mirrors in school so both had to be portable.

if he would have dissaperated it would have made a loud crack. did u all forget that or not and i agree with Rosebloom that you should get all the facts first before bragging

another thing is Sirius wouldnt flee because dombledore is secret keeper for the order still and fudge would not know about #12 Grimauld Place

The sound of dissaperating is described as being like a gunshot, so I agree with Sephiroth that even amongst all the noise of the big ruckus somebody would have heard him and noticed him dissaperating.

The Thing that I think is that Sirius is in a place of the afterlife but since he didnt particularly die, he just fell through and got trapped. i think that he will have to find his way out somehow and make a reappearance in the 7th book. If that happened then JKR could write a book about him beyond the veil and make more money for herself

THANK YOU FOR AGREEING WITH ME! And LadyBlueEyes, when you are confronted with a question you come back with mindless babble...and I don't recall Fudge KNOWING that Sirius was back! He came there AFTER he fell behind the veil. Also, these guys have excellent points, since Dumbledore is the secret keeper, Fudge can't get to Grimmauld Place even IF he knew where it was.

Its not called anything, its just a veil. We just don't know WHAT it is yet. There are all these people saying its the veil of death, and the gateway to the other side of life (a.k.a death) but WE DON'T KNOW! For all we know it could be the veil of life, that turns people back into babies, or maybe if an animagus falls behind it they will stay in that form forever. WE JUST DON'T KNOW! Assumptions, people, are NOT answers.

A lot of people assume that it is the veil of death because of what Luna said at the end of OotP! Also, don't get all angry at these people, I mean at TON of things that we assumed would be or happen in OotP didn't, so they are just trying to make theories, though they should have clues or hints from the book to back them up!
