They SHOULD. But they DON'T!! And what the hoo haa hay is OotP? And what exactly did Luna say? That she could hear the voices too? OH MY GOSH! THAT'S THE CLUE! ITS THE VEIL THAT LEADS TO MARS WHERE EVERYONE DRINKS SMOOTHIES AND EATS FRIED CHICKEN!! Now, that sounds a little far fetched, doesn't it? That's my whole point. Harry could look at the veil, and say "I'm cold," and everyone would be saying it lead to Antarctica. Please people, assumptions don't get you anywhere. We have people saying that he fled with Buckbeack so that Fudge wouldn't come after him. WHERE DID THESE THINGS COME FROM? I don't want to get confuzed over lesser posts thank you very much.

i cant believe he would have dissaparated and just left the fight, when he knew harry was in danger BUT it was never ACTUALLY said what colour the spell was, it couldve been the stunner, it couldve been the avada kedavra, it couldve been the one that makes you tap dance!!! it never says.
so for all we know, the veil couldve killed sirius, the spell couldve killwed sirius, sirius could be trapped behind the veil, alive but unable to come out! WE DONT KNOW. NO ONE knows... cept J.K.

Thank you FrootLoop! That is what I have been trying to say. WE DON'T KNOW PEOPLE!! We can only guess with the facts that we have! So whoever said that he fled with Buckbeak because Fudge was after him needs to read the book, and all the others. Fudge doesn't know where he is, so Sirius wouldn't need to leave.

You see RoseBloom, I don't believe Sirius is dead nor do I believe that he is alive. I'm am just going to wait and see. Oh, and what Luna said is the part about her mother and she really isn't dead or something like that at the end of OotP. By the way OotP stands for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, OotP for short. Also, you should be a little nicer to the people who believe Sirius to be alive, they a right to their opinion just as much as you do and you should show respect for their thoughts and opinions!

Oh believe me, I respect them as much I respect anyone else. I old them in high regards but I will pick at every stupid comment they make until it seems like the stupidist thing in the world. And Luna's statement doesn't exactly mean anything. Maybe she means that her mother is a ghost or something. How would Luna's mother be behind the veil anyway? Did she, like Harry, walk into the Department of Mysteries and fall behind it as well?

Well, i think everyone has strong points, but if there is one thing we can learn from JK, is that she loves to suprise...and i am sure if she looked at this postboard right now, she would have us all right where she wants us. and that place is...EVERYONE IS GONNA BE DYING TIL THE NEXT BOOK COMES OUT 😄 Now, a few things to add, #1. I thought with the A.K. death spell was cast, that the body fell lifelessly to the floor. But didnt it say Sirius kinda, and correct me NICELY if im wrong, but he kinda stiffed up and fell into the wall, you would think that if he was killed he would have fallen straight to the floor. #2. I could have sworn, that when Harry and Dumbledore were in Dumbledores office he told harry that he(dumbledore) took full responsibility of Sirius' death. I could swear he actually said that to harry. #3. I agree about the mirror, i think it will come in handy again, and i believe that somehow, Sirius will contact harry. There were voices behind that veil, and so i think somehow, Harry and Sirius will somehow meet up again. #4. If im not mistaken, a couple days had passed since Harry watched Sirius fall through the curtain, wouldnt someone from the Order know if Buckbeak was missing by then? Im sure that house hadnt been abandoned that long. and #5. Is it just me, or did Umbridge get off easy? I COULDNT STAND THE WOMAN! So i hope she gets a little more than what she got! Whew! remeber when harry asked nearly headless nick about seeing sirius as a ghost and mick said...that if he wants to he will... but then he said that he wont... he has to come back... and let me talk about someone besides sirius... i belive that peter pettigrew will contribute to the final downfall of voldemort... remember that he is in debt of harry?... dumbledore said that... then in the beginning of the goblet of fire... (in THE RIDDLE HOUSE) voldemort was treating wormtail like CRAP!!!!...hhmmmm... and of course snape will be potions master by the end... but he will show his true goodness in front of everyone... even though he still has the death eater mark thingy...

You can always repair mirrors and things in the Wizarding world, so there is a chance that the mirror will be used later on, and I think it will. For JK never just puts things in for no reason, she always has a reason for putting something in! Yes, I agree with the whole Wormtail thing, also did you guys notice that Wormtail wasn't in OotP at all! Maybe a bit of foreshadowing. . .

Envision: I agree with Luna's comment that it was made to leave doubt, but people are using it for the wrongs reasons. People are saying that Luna's mother is behind the veil, and that her mom isn't dead...yadda yadda yadda. People, somethings have to be taken seriously, but others they are stretching so thin they forget that the actual statement falls far from what they are using it for.
Stealth: PLEASE!! What does it have to do with which way he fell? Now.."Correct me if I'm wrong," but Sirius got hit with a spell, which has force. Now, if I punched you in the chest, would you fall straight to the floor or back? And also, its called a veil, not a wall. As for the rest of what you said, it was correct, and I agree with the Umbridge issue. I wish the centaurs finished her off when they had the chance to.
Sephiroth: About the mirror, they still work even when they are broken. Don't forget that, and the mirrors job is to reflect the other's image on a sort of magical frequency. Just because its broken doesn't mean that it can't work...and there is always that handy little spell called Reparo.
Thelotrlovr: Don't forget this is Voldemort we are talking about. Does it seem like he is peaches and cream to everyone? I think not. Wormtail is his servant, he wants to stick with the power that he sees so that he won't put himself in immediate danger...don't forget this is a coward we are talking about here. And also, patience is a virtue.
GinnyBlack: I agree with the whole mirror thing, but NOT with Wormtail. Voldemort got everything he has through cruelty. Not through sending chocolates. The people who are with him are under the impression, if you can't beat them join them...and with Wormtail, Voldemort does all the fighting for him.

I disagree, since when did Wormtail EVER do anything that was remotely good? He cut of his hand for Voldemort...wait, that wasn't good was it? Plus, I highly doubt he'll help Harry, I mean...look at what he does to friends. He lead Voldemort to Lily and James, and allowed everyone to think that Sirius was their killer. Not only is he in league with Voldemort, he'll do anything to stay safe (that's the kind of guy that he is) and the only way to actually do that (in his mind) is to stay as close to Voldemort as he can. NO WAY is he going to help Harry, or do anything good.

So when NEville got hit with the tappdancin spell how come it didnt send him soarin back, didnt see it mention that, or when a stupefy hits someone, i dont recall them going half way across Tulsa just because he got hit with it. I find it somewhat humerous that you should result to simplistic statements about my future children, and I would like to thank you now for telling me that it was a book. If I were not so "evil" as you make me out to be, perhaps I would award you with a gold star. Now, onto the spells. Never did I say that NO SPELL WILL SEND YOU FLYING BACK. Did McGonagall NOT get sent to Maladies because she got hit with several stupefies? Is Bellatrix not a powerful witch? That means her spell could be powerful couldn't it?
-Now, I wish that little people like you would not put words into my mouth. Never once did I say that Stupefy would shoot you halfway across Tulsa, or so you say. I simply said that when you get hit with it, you don't drop like a dead deer.
