Studio is setting Vinnie Jones for the bad-guy role of Juggernaut. Jones is the former British soccer player who has been seen in "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." Juggernaut, a 6-foot-10, 900-pound metal-clad battering ram, is the half-brother of Professor X and will anchor Magneto's villainous band.
Fox has begun negotiations with "Lost's" Maggie Grace to play the role of Kitty Pryde, a beauty who can walk through walls. Studio is also searching for an actor to play Angel, a handsome winged mutant who is ashamed of his feathery appendages.
While Grammer might seem a surprise to play a 355-pound blue-colored brute, producer Avi Arad said, "Kelsey was born to play the role," explaining that Beast is the most intelligent of the mutants, a pacifist Ph.D. and genetic researcher named Hank McCoy.
"This is a big role in the new movie, and when we met with him, you can see that Kelsey has that you'd-better-have-a-dictionary-handy intelligence," said Arad, who's producing with Lauren Shuler Donner and Ralph Winter. Kelsey Grammer/Beast: I never really liked this guy, but now that I think about it, it might be good becasue I think he has the look and voice. He came across as being a smart guy in Cheers and Fraiser. I hope that he is able to pull of the role, maybe we will see him in the blue furry costume upside down working in his lab.
Maggie Grace/Kitty Pryde: I'm sorry to say, but I'm kinda against them casting her for that role, she doesn't fit it at all, I even found pics of her with brunette hair and still didn't work for me. She gives off the presence of an older chick, she is better suited to play Emma Frost if anything. I still want Michelle Trachtenberg!
Vinne Jones/Juggernaut: I think that he can pull off the role, so I don't see a problem with him, as for the part saying he is his half-brother, I think that it means they are going to make him a mutant. It's fine by me making him a mutant, because the whole Ruby Gem of Cyttorak wont work on film, I think it would look kinda weak, but thats me. I rather see more action then them trying to show the origin of Juggernaut.

i am really optimistic about this... like stewart and mckellan the guy is a pro, i think he'll do well...

i agree grace looks all wrong, but imo so does trachtenberg...

Xavier mommy married Cains pop..they have no blood..I hate to be nit picky and all but they have no blood relation..but it's no biggie if Xavier goes..."the Juggernaut is my half brother" instead of "the Juggernaut is my step brother" Juggy hates him like a real brother though.

get some sentinels and we'll be all set..those hollywood ^%^&^ keep saying they gonna put sentinels in but they keep "running into difficulty" maybe by xmen 6: enter the sentinels. seriously Xmen two was hollow because of the lack of sentinels....I really wanna here
