what's the best Terminator 1 2 or 3

The Original Terminator is the best. The pacing is fast, it has a great story, it is a very dark movie, and Arnold is cast to perfection as the bad guy.

I do give props to T2. I still would rate it behind the original, but it is a great sequel, even one of the best ever. The action is great, the effects are awesome, though it does have a lull in the middle of the movie, but it is always hard to top a classic movie when making a sequel.

T3 is irrelevant to me. It is a descent action flick, which is enjoyable to watch, but does not compare to T1 or T2. There is no character development, it has a repetitive action chase scene taken from T2, and Arnold goes to a bar to get his clothes at the starting of the movie again! Come on writers, get some originality!

I agree with what you said and there are literally dozens of other scenes, moments, and portions of the general story, script, and plot that were taken directly from both Terminator 1 and 2. You would think that after doing something like that the film would have been at half way as great as either T1 or T2, but along the process of copying different scenes they should have been taking notes on the previous films' character development and story instead.

Absolutely, it was more like an anniversary remake or something, made just for fun.

it wasnt made just for fun, sure some parts are clear rip offs, but the movie itself was excellent, no cheesy computer mainframe at the end as a cop out, it was great,

I have probably posted on this thread already, but obviously T2.

I still have to go with the first one. Not just simply for nostalgia purposes. Even whith the grainy 80ish film, every time I watch it, I'm still looking for something I may have misssed last time. I like Arnold as a heavy, it just fits him better, rather than a self sacrificing, save the whole world good guy type.

T1 did have some elements over its successors, i'm referring to the gloom and the rawness. It made it, in its own way, a superior movie.

yes this is very true, ther is something that models and stop animation has that s far superior to cg, so in its own right it was a masterpiece

T2 is the best ever .. Next comes T1. T3 aint on my list. Was too much hazy.. No meaning to it than a lot of money making banking on T2 and T1. That movie really disappointed me. JC makes the difference. The TX was sick compared to T2 robo. It seemed to me that the machines in the future sent an idiot to tackle our old and powerful T-800. Another thing please explain me that Cop car chase scene in T3. In which car can a microchip control the whole functions of a car?? T3 sucks!!!

Yeah that was a real plot hole. And its more amazing that the crew behind the movie never saw it.

My bet is they all saw it but didn't care, probably thought something like "Well......its a good excuse so we can have car chase in it like the other Terminator movies."

terminator 2 is the best movie ever, i agree with ^^^

me to I watched that movie 100 times or more the first one sucked.

I believe it is James Cameron's best film to date and I doubt he will ever top T2 in the future.

I'm one of those people who can not decide. I love all three. Yes I do love T3. But if I had to choose one it would be T2, only because its the longest, meaning more enjoyment. But that doesn't mean its my best. (T3)
