he sure does, but the reason is not because he is from Nosgoth, Slaugh are from Nosgoth and so are Sarafan knights but theyt could not defeat sephiroth

its because on a mere will he can go in, or out of Spectoral, when he goes Spectoral time ceases to excist in the material realm, Sephiroth to Raziels conception would simply freeze solid, then Raziel will just come out and become Material behind Sephiroth or above him, and kill him with a soul blast or soul reaver strike in the head, he could best Sephiroth at every turn, or he could focuse a fully powered reaver and materialise with it inside sephiroths head

yeh, that would be quite funny, but not for sephiroth, altho hed prob give out a queer yelp as his energy is devoured

I don't know...I don't think destroying Sephiroth's tissue would be enough to subdue him. He was basically materialized almost instantly out of Jenova cells.

It just seems rather effortless for someone like him to regenerate like Chaos, but that's of course my speculation.

well Raziel would have to do it again and again, but since time basically stops when Raziel goes spectoral, Sephiroth wont be doing anything after being physically destroyed, so Raziel would sort of win anyway

either way, nothing will defeat and definaltey not kill Raziel, hes about as bad as kain for being killed

Oh forgot about that Spectral Thing, Raziel wins by being a cheapass. but he's cool like that.

thats gameplay, ill go find the SR 2 book and scan it in tomorrow, it says he can reform at will, the fonts are a gameplay object

When I bought the game, I didn't get the manual cause I got used games.

Isn't Kain stronger than Raziel?

If Seph can beat Kain(and he can), then he can beat Raziel.

And watching the videos about Kain in another thread, and reading Burning's comments about him, I have to agree with Terry. IMO you overrate Kain too much, Burning,
