Jessica Alba On 'The Eye' Role

Jessica Alba, who stars in the supernatural horror movie The Eye, told SCI FI Wire that the English-language remake of the Pang brothers' Hong Kong movie provided her with one of her most challenging acting roles to date. In the film, Alba plays a blind violinist who begins to see disturbing images after an eye transplant.

"It was certainly the most challenging film, the least glamorous," Alba said in an interview while promoting Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. "I had to learn to play the violin. I had to play someone who's blind, who's sort of going insane. I spent time at a blind orientation center. I had to learn the basics of Braille reading and how to walk with a cane. It was really intense."
