Alessandro Nivola Talks 'The Eye'

Alessandro Nivola, who stars alongside Jessica Alba in the upcoming horror film The Eye, told SCI FI Wire that he found his co-star to be more down-to-earth than her glamorous image would imply.
"I guess the thing about her is that, obviously she's gorgeous and everything, but she's kind of goofy and has a kind of self-deprecating, silly sense of humor about herself," Nivola said in an interview while promoting the film. "Even though there was a lot of pressure on her in this movie--it was her first big leading-lady role--she never seemed to take things too seriously. And she's not regal. You see pictures of her in magazines and things and she's so elegant. She's always well dressed. I know that she's very mature. She doesn't want to be like Britney Spears or whatever. She doesn't want to get into all that kind of nonsense. And she's very sort of level-headed about things on the one hand, but she's doesn't have a sort of regal way about her."
