Gladiator vs Hal Jordan

Who would win between a full confident Gladiator and Hal fullfledged?

No BFR.

Hal.

Almost every time. I'll give Glads maybe 2/10 because GLs slip up occasionally.

I know that Hal is powerful, but this is basically Superman with no discernible weakness. Yet he wins, why?

Because a GL can grant themselves telepathy, and telepathy does this to Gladiator:

Just one of many ways.

High class telepathy on the level of Cassandra Nova/Xavier does that. Gladiator has mind armour that protects against psionics.

Regardless, Hal wins. Glads puts up a good fight though.

I don't see why a GL couldn't grant himself Nova level telepathy. erm

Meh, I've seen a scan of Hal controlling a planet of people in the GL respect thread, I'm not sure whether it's pre- or post-Crisis though (or to what extent GLs were affected by COIE anyway).

Wasn't the mind armour only supposed to protect them from Phoenix Telekinesis?

Psionic armour is a standard with them i believe. Also, if it was just for the pheonix why were they talking about arming it just prior to to Nova's attack?

Hmm...good point...except...if the armour did protect them against telepathy...they wouldn't have needed to place that Anti-Telepathy helmet over Emma's head...when they came to the mansion?

Oh wait you were right I found a scan...saying it does...check this out...it's not very good though...

Here's the Telekinesis one..

Well, if its an armor, GL can just transmute it and make it non-resistant to psionics, cant he?

Lanterns weren't affected by the crisis.

That was my impression; aside from some continuity changes. So basically all feats are valid?

In which case Gladiator wets his silly romper suit. big grin

yes

That's one of the things that make Lanterns so DEVASTATING in Tourney's.
