Found it. He just taped up some goggles with yellow tape, then left a strip open and covered it with red see-through film.
He's not in full costume in this pic....it's just the visor.
with the materials he had thats not a bad attempt...

...I'm planning my costume.
Batman? Possible, but it's very obvious.
Jedi? I've done it before and it's not technically comics, but I'm planning on building my own lightsaber from store-bought metal parts and some schematics I found online.
Others? I haven't thought of anything good just yet, but I have about another week to decide.
...
Anyone else doing something special this year? Or am I the only one that still dresses up?
...for the rest of you, there's some fun pics in this thread. Me as Thor, Jinzin as Wolverine, random Halloween pics, my friend in a Cyclops visor, etc.

Cool. Have fun (slacker )
I always thought being a GL would be cool, but I'd want to be Alan and they only sell the classic Hal-style costume. I could piece it together, but it would be hard as hell. And rings are seperate, and cost a decent amount if you don't want a plastic cracker-jack kind, so it's not financially viable for me right now.
If building the lightsaber isn't too hard, I'll probably go the Jedi route. True to form (and to my wallet), my robe isn't official (damn things are like $80). I have a monk's robe ($15 ) and a rope belt.

Reggie Hudlin?
Anyone got a good idea for something comic related using just face paint? I want to do street clothes with a cool face, but I can't think of anyone that I can use.

...I'll take it that "funny" means "badass and strangely erotic". Otherwise I'd have to edit it into your post.

Meh..Halloween's nothing really special in my country, no costume tradition or anything so nobody's gonna see me dress as Goku and screaming Kamehameha or anything

Maybe before the movie came out.
It wouldn't be viewed in that light anymore.

Even though he's dressed as a terrorist (or freedom fighter) who dresses up as a famous terrorist?

The world isn't filled with SC's.
The world is filled with people who go "OMG, it's those guys from that movie!"

No one will know that.
They'll be like "Hey, it's that cool dude from that one movie!"
Not "Oh noez! He represents terroristic ideals!"
